Skills AttainmentCONTRACTOR will conduct a XXXXX, TABE test, or other tool(s) as identified and provided by CITY, to determine the youth’s basic skills level. If test indicates basic skills deficiency, CONTRACTOR will conduct a second test of the same type after tutoring or other skills attainment services have been provided. CONTRACTOR will record the results into CITY’s CalJOBS system as described in Section 3 (D) (2) (f) above.
Skills Attainment. (a) The Company undertakes to provide training for any employee who indicates a willingness to upgrade their skills to the level of Skilled Operator - Level 3 - as described in this Agreement. (b) Training as provided for in this Agreement shall commence from the commencement of this Agreement, and shall be concluded and assessed no later than 30 April 2005. All such training and competency assessment(s) shall be as prescribed in Annexure A of this Agreement, and subject to the parameters contained therein. Provided further that an employee may undertake training and assessment earlier than 30 April 2005. (c) Where a request is made by the employee pursuant to this clause, the Company shall carry out the training and provide sufficient opportunity for the employee to gain the necessary additional skills for Skilled Operator - Level 3. (d) Upon completion of the training module(s), a competency assessment shall be conducted in accordance with Annexure A, and shall be conducted by a suitably qualified person(s) from within the Company, such as the QC Technician or Quality Manager. (e) Provided further that the Company shall, within the same period as described at sub-clause 9.2, assess the employee’s existing skills against the Level 2 position description. Where training needs are identified, the Company shall provide such training as necessary to enable the employee to complete the tasks required at each level. (f) A Skilled Operator - Level 3, shall be required to perform the duties as prescribed in the Definitions clause of this Agreement. (g) Where an employee is not assessed as competent in accordance with this clause as provided at sub- clause 9.2, the Company shall provide further training at the first available opportunity in order for the employee to achieve the additional skills for Skilled Operator - Level 3. (h) Where an employee is assessed as competent in accordance with this clause, they shall be appointed to Skilled Operator - Level 3 at the date of assessment, and shall be paid the appropriate rate for that level from the first full pay period on or after assessment. This provision also applies to employees who have undertaken assessment before 30 April 2005. (i) Provided that no employee may be disadvantaged as a result of the operation of this clause, nor shall an employee be re-classified to a classification lower than their classification at the commencement of this Agreement. A list of the certified MWBEs appearing in the Empire State Development (“ESD”) MWBE directory that were solicited for this Contract. Provide proof of dates or copies of the solicitations and copies of the responses made by the certified MWBEs. Describe specific reasons that responding certified MWBEs were not selected. 3. Descriptions of the Contract documents/plans/specifications made available to certified MWBEs by the Contractor when soliciting their participation and steps taken to structure the scope of work for the purpose of subcontracting with, or obtaining supplies from, certified MWBEs. 4. A description of the negotiations between the Contractor and certified MWBEs for the purposes of complying with the MWBE goals of this Contract. 5. Dates of any pre-bid, pre-award, or other meetings attended by Contractor, if any, scheduled by OGS with certified MWBEs whom OGS determined were capable of fulfilling the MWBE goals set in the Contract. 6. Other information deemed relevant to the request.

  • Performance Goals A. The Trust and State Street have developed mutually acceptable performance goals dated March 1, 2011 , and as may be amended from time to time, regarding the manner in which they expect to deliver and receive the services under this Agreement (hereinafter referred to as “Service Level Agreement”). The parties agree that such Service Level Agreement reflects performance goals and any failure to perform in accordance with the provisions thereof shall not be considered a breach of contract that gives rise to contractual or other remedies. It is the intention of the parties that the sole remedy for failure to perform in accordance with the provisions of the Service Level Agreement, or any dispute relating to performance goals set forth in the Service Level Agreement, will be a meeting of the parties to resolve the failure pursuant to the consultation procedure described in Sections V. B. and V.C. below. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the parties hereby acknowledge that any party’s failure (or lack thereof) to meet the provisions of the Service Level Agreement, while not in and of itself a breach of contract giving rise to contractual or other remedies, may factor into the Trust’s reasonably determined belief regarding the standard of care exercised by State Street hereunder.

  • Performance Expectations The Charter School’s performance in relation to the indicators, measures, metrics and targets set forth in the CPF shall provide the basis upon which the SCSC will decide whether to renew the Charter School’s Charter Contract at the end of the charter term. This section shall not preclude the SCSC from considering other relevant factors in making renewal decisions.

  • PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES 4.1 The Performance Plan (Annexure A) sets out- 4.1.1 the performance objectives and targets that must be met by the Employee; and 4.1.2 the time frames within which those performance objectives and targets must be met. 4.2 The performance objectives and targets reflected in Annexure A are set by the Employer in consultation with the Employee and based on the Integrated Development Plan, Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) and the Budget of the Employer, and shall include key objectives; key performance indicators; target dates and weightings. 4.2.1 The key objectives describe the main tasks that need to be done. 4.2.2 The key performance indicators provide the details of the evidence that must be provided to show that a key objective has been achieved. 4.2.3 The target dates describe the timeframe in which the work must be achieved. 4.2.4 The weightings show the relative importance of the key objectives to each other. 4.3 The Employee’s performance will, in addition, be measured in terms of contributions to the goals and strategies set out in the Employer’s Integrated Development Plan.
