TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT. Strategy (TAS) means the document or documents created by the Training Provider which details the Training Provider’s plan to deliver training and assessment of a particular course, and for each cohort within that particular course, as described in Clause 5 of Schedule 1. Training Contract means an agreement signed by the employer and the Apprentice or Trainee (and a parent or guardian if applicable) specifying the type of Apprenticeship or Traineeship that will be undertaken. It details the training obligations of employers and Apprentices or Trainees. It also contains details on the commencement date for the training, the duration of the training period, at what workplace/location the Apprentice or Trainee will receive practical experience, and which registered training organisation will provide the structured, off-the-job or workplace based training. A Training Contract must be signed within 14 days of the Apprentice or Trainee being employed.

TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT. The RTO must ensure that all training and assessment is delivered by individuals who at all times meet the requirements of being a VTG Teacher. The RTO must ensure it maintains sufficient Records such that the Department may determine at any time, which trainer and/or assessor was responsible for delivering each unit/module of training and assessment delivered under this VET Funding Contract. The RTO acknowledges and agrees that: the Department will determine the RTO's Funded Scope as at 16 October 2015, after which no courses or qualifications will be added to the Funded Scope during the Term, subject only to the Department, in its sole discretion, conducting a process at a time and in a manner as the Department sees fit, which allows the RTO to apply for the Department's approval to increase its Funded Scope, taking into consideration issues such as labour market need; the Department in its absolute discretion may add or remove a course or qualification from the RTO’s Funded Scope; to retain or add particular courses on its Funded Scope and/or to deliver Training Services to Eligible Individuals that meet characteristics defined by the Department, the RTO may be required to participate in a capability or quality assurance process to be determined by the Department; and if the RTO does not participate in a process advised under Clause 4.6c) or does not meet the required standard, the Department may remove relevant courses from the RTO’s Funded Scope and/or direct the RTO to cease enrolments in respect of Eligible Individuals that meet characteristics defined by the Department. The RTO agrees and acknowledges that: at any time between the Commencement Date and 31 December 2016, the RTO cannot have a qualification on its Funded Scope that is also on the Funded Scope of another registered training organisation with a VET Funding Contract that is a party to an RTO Group that the RTO is party to; and if, at any time between the Commencement Date and 31 December 2016, a circumstance arises that is in breach of Clause 4.7a), the Department may in its absolute discretion remove the relevant qualification from the RTO’s Funded Scope immediately by written notice. TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT. Amount of training The Training Provider must ensure that the amount of training it delivers for programs on the Funded Scope is determined with reference to the matters described in Clause 1.1 and 1.2 of Standard 1 of the National RTO Standards. Deliver training and assessment in accordance with TAS and Training Plan The Training Provider must ensure that all training and assessment in programs on the Funded Scope is delivered in accordance with the relevant Training Plan and Training and Assessment Strategy. Requirements for assessment in a workplace Where the Training Package or course curriculum requires that a subject be assessed in the workplace, the Training Provider must visit the Skills First Student’s workplace in person to carry out that assessment. Learning materials for online training and assessment The Training Provider must ensure that all learning materials used for online training and assessment delivery comply with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. Training delivery where other regulatory requirements apply If any additional requirements in Regulatory Standards or other Laws apply to specific programs or types of training on the Funded Scope, the Training Provider must comply with those requirements, including: for training delivered to Apprentices/Trainees, the requirements of the Act and the Guidelines About Apprenticeship/Traineeship Training Delivery; and for the Diploma of Nursing, requirements set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, including only delivering an ‘Approved Program of Study’. Issuing certificates and statements of attainment The Training Provider must issue recognised certificates or statements of attainment in accordance with the specifications of the relevant accredited courses and Training Packages, as well as any other applicable guidelines, regulations or legislation (including the Guidelines About Apprenticeship/Traineeship Training Delivery for completions by Apprentices/Trainees).

TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT. Training The signing institution and, as the case may be, each of the collaborating bodies providing practical training to students will appoint a trainee supervisor (a professional member of the signing institution). In the case of undergraduate students (or students from former curricula), UNED shall provide a supervisor through the appropriate associate centre. If the training project is a part of a Master´s Degree programme, UNED will designate, through its MA Coordination Board, a professor who will be the supervisor for the whole MA programme. In the case of training with the aim of developing the Final Undergraduate Project or Master's Thesis, the UNED will designate a supervisor. The supervisors will be in charge of the monitoring and follow-up processes for the duration of the student’s practical training period. Furthermore, they will also be the first resource to deal with any issues that may arise, always informing those responsible for this programme in each of the signing institutions about any problems or special circumstances that may require their intervention. UNED shall issue a «Practical Training Supervisor» certificate to the professionals in the collaborating institutions who have carried out this role. UNED may determine any appropriate compensation for the fulfillment of this function. Likewise, Trainee Supervisors (professionals of the collaborating institution) from (name of the entity/organism), are entitled to avail themselves of the benefits provided pursuant to the Government Council Resolution of February 27, 2008.

The duration of training will be flexible depending upon the needs of the individual however; the duration for each course must be compliant with the minimum and maximum length of time allowed within UK Government Apprenticeships Funding Rules. No apprenticeship will take less than 12 months to complete.
