Snow Plowing. The Private Road shall be snowplowed so as to permit year round access. The cost shall be shared by the parcel owners as indicated in Paragraph No. 6 above. Individual driveway snow plowing, if desired, will be invoiced to the parcel owners directly by the snow plow contractor.
Snow Plowing. When plowing snow or spreading of ice-control materials, Employees shall be provided with a rest period of at least four (4) hours once they have been sent home. If they are required to report back within a time interval of less than four (4) hours, they shall be paid straight through at straight-time from the time they were sent home as if there had been no such rest period (i.e., break in service). This provision shall apply to all periods of time when snow plowing or spreading ice-control materials are being performed whether it is during the normal hours of work or on overtime. This provision shall not apply when Employees have not been engaged in snow plowing or spreading of ice-control materials between 12:00 noon and the end of the normal work day.
Snow Plowing. Lessee, at its expense, shall remove snow and ice from the parking lots, sidewalks and walkways that service the Premises.
Snow Plowing. Snowplow operators will be designated and assigned through the Maintenance section 11 of the Department. An operator may be sent home before the end of his/her regular shift at the 12 discretion of the supervisor. When snowplow operators are working prior to the start of their regular 13 shift they shall receive overtime (one and one-half regular rate) for such time. Overtime will be paid for 14 snow plowing work on Saturdays and Sundays. Double time will be paid for snow plowing work on 15 Sundays and observed legal holidays, including floating holidays, as scheduled by the District. Snow 16 plowing assignments are exempt from the minimum call-in pay provisions of Article VI, Section C 17 “Saturday, Holiday and Call-In Pay.” If an operator is sent home before his/her regular shift ends on a 18 day that he/she has plowed, the District will pay the operator and regular days’ wages plus the overtime 19 wage for the plowing time prior to the start of the regular shift. This section does not apply to part-time 21 check of the contract year. The amount of the longevity payment will be $380 in 2010-11.
Snow Plowing. Snow plowing of the runway, taxiway, taxilane or other areas is not guaranteed by Lessor and Lessor makes no warranty as such, however, if Lessor does provide snow plowing, it will usually only provide plowing in the non-leased portions of the airport. Lessee is responsible for providing for Lessee’s own snowplowing. If Lessee does provide for Lessee’s own snowplowing, Lessee shall ensure the plowing is done in a safe and effective manner in accordance with airport rules and minimum standards and that snow berms are not left on active areas or in a manner that causes other problems.
Snow Plowing. The Lessor or its agent agrees to provide snow removal services to the Lessee’s leased premises in the hangar area, except within three (3) feet of the hangar door. Snow plowing adjacent to or in aircraft parking areas and on all movement areas will be consistent with the requirements of the FAA as established in Advisory Circular Airport Winter Safety and Operations or its successors. Snow removal shall be accomplished only after all runways, aprons, and primary taxiways have been first cleared.
Snow Plowing. Tenant is responsible for shoveling the walk to and from his dwelling.
Snow Plowing. If any employee is requested to perform snow-plowing operations during a day which is a regularly scheduled work day and said snow-plowing operations are performed during the hours that the said employee is normally scheduled to work, then the employee shall receive this regular hourly pay at straight time rates for the time that he is engaged in said snow-plowing operations during his normal scheduled hours. The employee will be entitled to premium overtime rates if, and only if, he is required to engage in said snowplowing operations either prior to the commencement of, or subsequent to the termination of, his normally scheduled hours for that work day. Refuse Department employees, whose normally scheduled work day is on the incentive basis, may be held over on snow removal standby until the end of their eight (8) hour shift, without the payment of premium overtime, as a contingency, whenever the arrival of a snow or ice storm is considered imminent (within four hours), during the period between November 1 through April 1, provided such employee is designated to drive. Call-ins for contiguous hours worked before the shift shall be paid actual hours worked.
Snow Plowing. Any work necessary to remove snow from the Roadway surface to allow the above-described vehicles to safely travel over any of the Upper Boon Roads.
Snow Plowing. The Private Road shall be snowplowed so as to permit year-round access. The responsibility of individual driveway snow plowing is not a duty or responsibility of the Road Manager pursuant to this Agreement and remains a responsibility of every Owner.
