Special Needs Children. The Customer shall notify Naya by written if the child concerned has special needs, when signing in for the Services or at any time during the Agreement if the special need occurs then. Special needs are understood broadly for the purpose of the Agreement, such as but not limited to, any impairment, disabilities, illness, allergies (whether food allergies or others), etc. For special needs’ children, Naya may require the supervision of a parent/guardian during the Services under Article 8 of the GTC. In such case, if the supervision is not possible, Naya may reserve the right to not accept the child concerned during the Services.
Special Needs Children. The Board and the Association agree that the needs of all of the children we educate must be met. When it is decided that the needs of a child with disabilities can be met appropriately in the regular classroom, there are minimum standards to which we are committed.
Special Needs Children. 12.1.1 The Board recognizes its responsibility to give all reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. 12.1.2 Students suspected of qualifying for special education services will be referred for evaluation to the Child Study Team. Students identified as possibly being able to benefit from special education services will be referred to the appropriate diagnostic professional staff for evaluation. 12.1.3 The number of mainstreamed students per class shall be reviewed by the administration periodically to determine if the numbers are fairly distributed among the various classes. An attempt shall be made to avoid excessive numbers in any particular class. 12.1.4 Students with special needs that are identified in an IEP and are in a general education classroom will be assisted according to the provisions of the IEP.

The youth's developmental and/or medical requirements must be reviewed by the Child and Youth Programs (CYP) Medical Advisor. The Program will work with the family to determine if an Inclusion Action Team (IAT) meeting is needed. The IAT include: the CYP Medical Advisor, the Medical Group Exceptional Family Member representative, the Flight Chief, the Training and Curriculum Specialist, and School Age Coordinator to determine if reasonable accommodations can be met.
Special Needs Children. Contractor shall contract with the University of Illinois, Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC), to provide care coordination services to those Enrollees enrolled in the Medically Fragile, Technology Dependent (MFTD) Waiver or the Nursing and Personal Care Services (NPCS) program. The Department may designate other entities with which Contractor may contract for providing such services.

  • Special Needs Any Passenger with mobility, communication or other impairments, or other special or medical needs that may require medical care or special accommodations during the cruise or CruiseTour, including but not limited to the use of any service animal, must notify the Carrier of any such condition at the time of booking. Xxxxxxxxx agrees to accept responsibility and reimburse Carrier for any loss, damage or expense whatsoever related to the presence of any service animal brought on board the Vessel or Transport. Passengers acknowledge and understand that certain international safety requirements, shipbuilding standards, and/or applicable regulations involving design, construction or operation of the Vessel may restrict access to facilities or activities for persons with mobility, communication or other impairments or special needs. Passengers requiring the use of a wheelchair must provide their own wheelchair (that must be of a size and type that can be accommodated on the Vessel) as wheelchairs carried on board are for emergency use only.

  • Children/Grandchildren An employee may purchase life insurance in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) as a package for all eligible children/grandchildren (as defined in Section 2A2 and 2A3 of this Article). For a new employee, child/grandchild coverage requires evidence of insurability if application is made after the initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. An employee who becomes eligible for insurance may purchase child/grandchild coverage without evidence of insurability if application is made within thirty (30) days of the initial effective date as defined in this Article. Child/grandchild coverage commences fourteen (14) calendar days after birth.

  • Your Children If your plan includes family coverage, each of your and your spouse’s children are eligible for coverage until the last day of the month in which they turn twenty-six (26). For purposes of determining eligibility for coverage, the term children means: • Natural children; • Step-children; • Legally adopted children; • Xxxxxx children who have been placed with you by an authorized placement agency or court order. A child for whom healthcare coverage is required through a Qualified Medical Child Support Order or other court or administrative order is also eligible for coverage. Your employer is responsible for determining if an order meets the criteria of a Qualified Medical Child Support Order. We may request more information from you to confirm your child’s eligibility. General Law § 27-20-45, when your enrolled unmarried child reaches the maximum dependent age of twenty-six (26), he or she can continue to be considered an eligible dependent only if he or she is determined by us to be a disabled dependent. If you have an unmarried child of any age who is financially dependent upon you and medically determined to have a physical or mental impairment, which can be expected to result in death or which has lasted or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than twelve (12) months, that child is an eligible disabled dependent under this agreement. Please contact our Customer Service Department, to obtain the necessary form to verify the child’s disabled status. Periodically you may be asked to submit additional documents to confirm the child’s disabled status.

  • Blood Donations An employee may be granted leave with pay, up to a maximum of two (2) hours, for donating blood during regularly scheduled hours of work.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • Family The District shall contribute no less than eighty percent (80%) of the total cost of the premium toward family coverage. The employee shall pay the difference between the District contribution and the total cost of the premium for family dental coverage.

  • Donations It is recognized that the Employer may sponsor donations to worthy charitable organizations. However, no employee shall be required to make contributions nor shall any employee be told a specific amount he should contribute. There shall be no compulsion with regard to such contributions.

  • Immediate family or household (1) The entitlement to use carer’s leave and compassionate leave in accordance with this clause is subject to the person being either: (a) a member of the employee’s immediate family; or (b) a member of the employee’s household.
