Medical Requirements. Prior to your appointment as a resident, you are required to complete a University pre- employment health screening questionnaire. In addition, screening of the resident for infectious diseases, prophylaxis/treatment for exposure to communicable disease, and immunizations will be provided by the University or through arrangements with other health providers. The resident will have documentation of immunity to measles, mumps, hepatitis B, rubella and varicella (chicken pox); the resident will be required to have periodic tuberculosis skin tests. The resident must comply with the infection control policies and procedures of the institutions where the resident is assigned. A resident must meet the technical standards set by the College of Medicine and his/her respective program.
Medical Requirements. 48.1 Any OC required physical or medical examinations shall be promptly complied with by all employees, provided however, OC shall pay for all such physical or medical examinations and for any time lost as a result thereof during their working hours. When employees are examined by a physician paid by OC, and it is found that such employees are not fit to carry on their employment, the OC paid physician shall first consult with the employee's physician and/or an elected physician of the Union. If after such consultation it is found that the employee(s) involved are capable of carrying on in their present class of employment, they will be reinstated forthwith without loss of pay.
(a) When either party becomes aware that an employee has been diagnosed as having been exposed to an infectious or contagious disease and with the consent of the employee, the Joint Committee shall meet, within five days, at the call of either party.
(b) The Joint Committee shall explore all avenues relevant to offering protection to the employee sufficient to safeguarding the employee from opportunistic infection.
(c) The Committee shall consult with such professional groups as it deems necessary in order to reach a conclusion which shall be in keeping with current standards.
Medical Requirements. I understand that certain placements in medical, residential, educational or health care settings may require specific medical screening, which may include, but not be limited to, a medical examination, tuberculosis skin testing, vaccinations or confirmation of immunizations, and mask fit testing. It is my responsibility to be fully informed concerning agency medical requirements prior to the commencement of my placement. I understand that I am responsible for ensuring that I meet these requirements and that any costs associated with these measures are also my responsibility. Any proof of medical requirements are to be shared only with the placement agency and not with the School of Social Work.
Medical Requirements. All health certificates and x-ray certificates paid by the Board shall be kept in the employee’s personnel file unless otherwise required by law. All employees will adhere to the Bloodborne Pathogens standards and use of Universal Precautions. The Board shall maintain separate medical and personnel files for employees.
Medical Requirements. A. All written statements from a doctor testifying to a teacher’s state of health and x-ray certificates shall be kept in the teacher’s personnel file unless otherwise required by law.
B. The Board shall provide, free of charge, a licensed physician to issue to each teacher any required health certificate; or each teacher may secure said certificate from his/her own licensed physician at the teacher’s expense.
Medical Requirements. The insurer reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to have any insured person provide one or more specific medical certificates. The insurer also reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to request that an insured person submit to one or more medical examinations carried out by a physician or a dentist designated by the insurer or to one or more evaluations or examinations carried out by any health professional.
Medical Requirements. 1. Medical requirements associated with technician employment, to include immunizations or testing under a substance abuse program, will be accomplished IAW NGB policy.
2. An employee who is pending disability retirement may be retained until the disability retirement process has been completed. The supervisor will make a recommendation based upon each individual situation. The recommendation will be forwarded up the supervisory chain for final determination. If the employee is retained, he/she may be reassigned to a different position and/or a different work site within the same commuting area. However, any change in duties or work location shall not adversely affect the employee’s pay.
Medical Requirements. (a) All employees will be required to have medical examinations. Employees up to the age of forty-five (45) shall undertake a medical examination every thirty
Medical Requirements. If you are an adult medical member, you must successfully complete all applicable Safe Sport course requirements each competitive season. Additionally, you must immediately and successfully complete a criminal background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives, if you have not done so within the previous two (2) years. Background screenings from other organizations may not be used to satisfy this requirement. Additionally, you must complete all courses required by USA Gymnastics or the Center, including without limitation, the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Policy course.

2. Normally, when a dual-status technician loses their military membership as a result of being medically or physically unfit for duty they are subsequently terminated from their technician position for failure to meet a condition of employment. However, an employee who is pending disability retirement may request to be retained in their current position until the end of the pay period in which OPM adjudication is received:
a. Employees who qualify for continued retention under this provision will be formally notified by the Agency at least thirty (30) days prior to their separation date.
b. If the employee wishes to be retained, they must submit a request in writing prior to their separation date, and must:
(1) Specify that they intend to apply for an OPM disability retirement; and,
(2) Specifically request to be retained until OPM adjudication is received.
c. Once the Agency receives an employee’s timely request, they will conduct a review to determine if the employee is able to continue in their current position or if any reasonable accommodations can be made to reassign the employee to an alternate position pending OPM adjudication.
d. Employees who are retained will be advised that:
(1) They must continue to perform their duties at fully successful level;
(2) They are subject to administrative action for cause, up to and including termination for unacceptable behavior.
