Standards of Employee Conduct. 2.1 Employees should refrain from alcohol consumption for at least 8 hours prior to the start of any work shift. 2.2 ✱ AMR employees shall not consume alcohol if any of the following situational factors apply: (a) On-duty (b) On-call (c) In AMR uniform, even if “off-duty” 2.3 AMR employees may be exempt from the alcohol related provisions of this policy for a specific meeting or company function where alcohol consumption is permitted by AMR management. (a) Alcohol related exemptions shall not apply to any employee that: (1) Is expected to remain ready to respond to emergency calls, provide patient care, or provide clinical guidance to on-duty employees [e.g. field employees or field supervisors who are on-duty or on-call]. (2) Drives an AMR vehicle to or from the meeting / company function (3) Is in AMR uniform, regardless of duty status 2.4 ✱ AMR employees are prohibited from unlawful use, possession, manufacture, distribution, dispensation, or sale of controlled substances or illicit drug paraphernalia. 2.5 If taking a prescribed or over-the-counter drug, employees must immediately report to their supervisor if the use of the drug may alter the employee’s behavioral alertness or mental ability and / or may interfere with the employee’s ability to perform their normal job duties in a safe and competent manner. (a) The company may require the employee to provide a written letter of explanation from their physician that indicates knowledge of the employee’s work, sufficient awareness of the hazards associated with the work, and professionally reasoned confidence that the prescribed medication will not create unreasonable risk for the employee, coworkers, patients, or the community. (b) Employees are not to take prescription drugs unless they are issued to them by a physician. Therefore, any prescribed drugs taken while on duty must be in the original container and be clearly marked with the employee’s name on the prescription label. (c) Employees are not to knowingly misuse or abuse over-the-counter or prescription medications. 2.6 Employees must notify their supervisor immediately if they are arrested or convicted under any criminal statute associated with drugs or alcohol.

Standards of Employee Conduct. The Ship Manager shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct and integrity, and shall be responsible for taking necessary disciplinary action with respect to its employees.
Standards of Employee Conduct a) Contractor and Contractor personnel will be required to adhere to the following standards of dress and conduct while performing work in the National Cemetery. These standards and regulations are enforceable under Title 38, U.S.C., Part I, Chapter 9, Section 901. (1) Be fully clothed at all times in matching uniforms, to include long slacks or pants and shirt, buttoned up from neck to waist. Clothing will be clean each day. Any soiled clothing should be cemetery work- related that day. T-shirts and/or tank tops and short pants as outer garments are prohibited. Shoes/boots will have no holes or loose soles. Steel-toed shoes or equivalent will be required in accordance with OSHA requirements. Contractor employees will maintain personal hygiene. (2) Will not engage in loud or boisterous behavior or use profane or abusive language. Will show proper reverence during committal services. (3) Will neither eat nor drink beverages (except water or non-alcoholic drinks) in the work areas, nor in sight of committal shelter during a service. Use of intoxicating beverages and/or drugs is strictly prohibited. (4) Contractor personnel will not lean, sit or stand on or against headstones or monuments. No tools, equipment or other items will be placed or leaned on headstones or monuments. (5) The only designated smoking area for contract personnel of the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery is located by the maintenance building. All other areas are designated as NO SMOKING. (6) Contracted personnel are required to report the damaging of any cemetery facility, equipment, grounds or headstones to the COR as soon as occurs.

  • Employee Conduct Employee covenants, warrants and represents that during the period of Employee’s employment with the Company, Employee shall at all times comply with the Company’s written policy as in effect from time to time on the acceptance of gifts and gratuities from customers, vendors, suppliers, or other persons doing business with the Company. Employee represents and understands that acceptance or encouragement of any gift or gratuity not in compliance with such policy may create a perceived financial obligation and/or conflict of interest for the Company and shall not be permitted as a means to influence business decisions, transactions or service. In this situation, as in all other areas of employment, Employee is expected to conduct himself or herself using the highest ethical standard.

  • Contractor Employee Conduct The Contractor’s employees shall adhere to the standards of conduct prescribed in the Customer’s personnel policy and procedure guidelines, particularly rules of conduct, security procedures, and any other applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Customer.   • DISCIPLINE OF EMPLOYEES Section 1: All charges preferred by the Employer against its employees for violation of its rules or other offenses must be preferred within five (5) days after any such alleged violation or offense has been made known to the official or officials of the Employer or their designees. If the charges are not preferred within the time limits set forth herein, such alleged violation or offense shall be forever barred and extinguished, provided, however, that any violation of the rules pertaining to the mishandling of fares or mis-appropriation of the Employer's funds or property shall not come within the scope of the foregoing provisions of this Section. Additionally, any discipline meted out in other than fare violations must be begun within five (5) days of notification to the employee. Section 2: If any employee is charged with an offense involving the mishandling of fares, drunkenness, possession or use of an illegal substance or the misappropriation of the Employer's funds or property, neither such charges nor discipline meted out in connection therewith shall be subject to the grievance and arbitration procedures provided for in this Agreement unless and until the grievance and/or demands for arbitration in such cases be accompanied by a signed authorization from the employee involved releasing the Employer and the Union to submit any and all information and facts pertaining to the case to whomever they may concern. Section 3: When the Employer disciplines an employee and/or places a written entry of the incident in the employee's file, the employee and Union involved shall be furnished a copy of the entry. An employee may examine and copy from his/her own employee file at any reasonable time. After thirty (30) months all materials pertaining to discipline in an employee's file will not be used for disciplinary purposes. Section 4: If, as a result of investigation or upon appeal, the discipline, suspension or dismissal of an employee is found to have been without just cause, his/her record of the alleged offense will be cleared, and if time has been lost, the employee will be paid for such loss of time by the Employer in accordance with the amount s/he would have received had s/he not been held from service.

  • Employee Handbook Employee agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of any employee handbook of Bank or its affiliates as may be in effect from time to time, except that in the event of a conflict between such employee handbook and the Agreement, the Agreement shall control.

  • Standards of Conduct Whenever the Member is required or permitted to make a decision, take or approve an action, or omit to do any of the foregoing, then the Member shall be entitled to consider only such interests and factors, including its own, as it desires, and shall have no duty or obligation to consider any other interests or factors whatsoever.   • Scope of Employment (a) During the Term of Employment, the Executive shall be responsible for the performance of those duties consistent with the Executive’s position as General Counsel, in addition to such other duties as may from time to time be assigned to the Executive by the Company. The Executive agrees to abide by the rules, regulations, instructions, personnel practices, and policies of the Company, as well as any applicable codes of ethics or business conduct, and any changes therein that may be adopted from time to time by the Company. (c) The Executive represents and warrants to the Company that the Executive is under no obligations or commitments, whether contractual or otherwise, that are inconsistent with the Executive’s obligations under this Agreement. In connection with the Executive’s employment hereunder, the Executive shall not use or disclose any trade secrets or other proprietary information or intellectual property in which the Executive or any other person or entity has any right, title or interest, and Executive’s employment with the Company will not infringe or violate the rights of any other person or entity. The Executive represents and warrants to the Company that the Executive has returned all property and confidential information belonging to any prior employer.
