Temporary Filling. During the operation of the posting procedure, the City may fill the vacant or new job by a temporary transfer, or recall from layoff, and, if no bargaining unit members are thereby available for temporary assignment, then the City may assign a person of its choosing for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days unless the Union and City mutually agree to extend such term. If there is more than one qualified employee in the division and classification from which the City determines the temporary transfer is to be made, then the person selected for the transfer shall be the volunteer with the most seniority. If all such employees decline the opportunity for the transfer, the City shall transfer the one with the least seniority who has the necessary qualification.

Temporary Filling. If the Employer deems it necessary, a vacancy may be filled on a temporary basis, however, temporary appointments shall not extend beyond forty (40) consecutive employment days. The employee information referenced in Section 2.1O of this agreement shall be provided to the Association President for an employee whose employment, in the same position, exceeds forty (40) consecutive employment days.
Temporary Filling. The County may fill a vacancy or new position on a temporary basis during the time necessary to fill the job on a regular basis.

  • Temporary Work Temporary work results from replacing a faculty member on leave, or assigned to other duties, or work that is a result of a time limited contract/project.

Overtime will only be offered to temporary employees after all qualified senior and probationary employees within the classification concerned have refused. Public holidays will be paid to the temporary employees as per the Employment Standards Act Part X (10). Temporary employees will be hired for the applicable classification and wage rate as per Appendix A of the Collective Agreement. Should a temporary employee apply for a job posting and be successful as per Article 9.07 of the Collective Agreement the temporary employee shall then become a probationary employee. The seniority date of a temporary employee who is awarded a full-time position will equal the date the full-time position is awarded. No person, who is or has been employed by the Company outside of the bargaining unit, shall be eligible to work as a temporary employee within the bargaining unit, unless his record of employment with the Company has been severed in excess of one week.

  • Temporary Suspension JetBrains reserves the right to suspend Customer’s access to JetBrains Products if Customer or User’s use of Product is in violation of this Agreement or disrupts or imminently threatens the security, integrity, or availability of a Product.

  • Temporary Positions A) The Employer may create regular temporary positions for vacation relief for more than one (1) incumbent for up to six (6) months duration.
