Third Shift Differential. An employee assigned to the third shift shall receive a shift differential of ten (10) thirty (30) cents per hour which shall be added to his/her base rate and made a part thereof.

Third Shift Differential. Any bargaining unit member who is regularly scheduled to work the third shift shall receive a five percent (5%) increase on his/her hourly rate of pay as a shift differential for those regular hours worked during the third shift, including overtime hours worked immediately before or after third shift. Any bargaining unit member who is not regularly scheduled to work third shift or whose hours may overlap into the third shift as a result of overtime will not receive the 5% shift differential.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B.   • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.
