Advance planning that avoids dependence on a favorable weather window during the final days of the project is strongly encouraged. All request for bid packages from the GRANTEE to subcontractors must include language that specifies a completion date that ensures all materials will be in the water by August 1, 2021. Subcontracts with completion dates even earlier than August 1, 2021 to provide an additional buffer are strongly encouraged.
