TRAINING SCHEDULING. The Department will attempt to alleviate officer inconvenience caused by scheduled training during non-duty hours. This may include weekend, weeknight or alternative training hour times. The Department may request officers to submit a preference day or time of day for a given six (6) month period.

TRAINING SCHEDULING. The District will assign employees to attend training classes, providing a sufficient number of volunteers are unavailable subject to departmental or section scheduling. When Training classes are of a duration of one (1) week or more, the employee will have two (2) RDOs on the days immediately following that training week. If, as a result of the training schedule, an employee who ordinarily works a 5/8 schedule is required to work more than five (5) consecutive days, then such an employee shall be eligible for overtime as specified in Section 14.1 on the sixth and seventh consecutive day worked. If, as a result of the training schedule, an employee who ordinarily works a 4/10 schedule is required to work more than four (4) consecutive days, then such employee shall be eligible for overtime as specified in Section 14.1 on the fifth and sixth consecutive day. Employees who are ordinarily on a 4/10 schedule shall not receive overtime pay for more than two days during the training week. Employees in training shall continue to receive any shift differential, for which the employee is ordinarily entitled to receive in accordance with Section 14.2. A training week for purpose of this Section shall consist of five (5) consecutive days.
TRAINING SCHEDULING a. Ada County shall use a minimum of five (5) suitably trained Ada County Sheriff’s deputies in meeting the obligations and fulfilling the conditions contained in this Agreement. Prior to assignment to a school, all SROs shall have basic SRO certification, or, in unexpected situations, shall obtain within one (1) calendar year. To keep their patrol certification, all SROs will attend all training requirements for general ACSO patrol deputies on a regular basis. Throughout the term of this Agreement, the five (5) deputies will be assigned Resource Officer duties at the assigned School as their primary duty. If the SRO will be absent from the assigned School for a full or partial day (excluding time SRO’s are splitting time between Schools) the SRO shall notify the school administration in advance or as soon as practical.
TRAINING SCHEDULING. When mandatory training is scheduled on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off, the Employer may require an employee to choose an alternate day off on no more than two (2) occasions annually. The employee shall choose from at least two alternate days selected by Management. After two such occasions, selection of an alternate day off shall be by mutual agreement of the employee and the Employer, otherwise overtime shall be paid for training on a regularly scheduled day off.
TRAINING SCHEDULING. The City shall schedule paid department training of at least 35 annual hours, from July 1 to June 30. Attendance at such trainings, shall be mandatory. If training is scheduled two weeks in advance, personnel on prior authorized absences, approved by the Fire Chief, shall not be expected to attend. If training is scheduled within two weeks, attendance is not mandatory.

  • Work Scheduling Except at the request of an affected employee, no employee shall have the number of hours they are normally scheduled to work reduced as the result of the use of non-permanent employees such as, but not limited to: seasonal, intermittent, student interns, interns, interim, established term, or temporary employees, due to the performance of such employee’s duties by the nonpermanent employee.

  • Scheduling i) The designated employer will provide the employee with their schedule of shifts in accordance with the collective agreement for both homes. [Insert the split/sharing of shift numbers here] Similarly, the employee will submit all requests for time off including vacation to the designated employer in accordance with the collective agreement.

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources. Any complaints by members that pre-scheduled overtime is not being equitably distributed among all qualified members as described above may be brought by the Lodge directly to the Chief's attention at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure and shall also be a proper subject for discussion in a Labor Relations Committee meeting. Inability to work a prescheduled overtime assignment due to illness or death in the family or injury will not require the member to charge such absence against sick leave or injury leave.

  • Shift Scheduling The parties agree that the following shift schedules are examples of the type which will provide the flexibility required to meet the needs expressed above provided the provisions of Article VII Section 4 (b) (i) and (ii) have been met.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Self Scheduling The Home and the Union may agree to implement a self-scheduling process. Self-scheduling is the mechanism by which employees in a Home create their own work schedules. The purpose of self scheduling is to improve job satisfaction and quality of work life for the participating employees. Self scheduling requires a collaboration of employees and management to ensure proper coverage of the Home and to meet the provisions of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that self scheduling will be negotiated locally by the Home and the Union and will include a trial period. Each Home must have the majority agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to agree on a trial period of up to six months. Once the trial period is complete, each Home must have a minimum of 66⅔% agreement of the full-time and part-time employees who vote on the issue to continue with the new schedule on a permanent basis.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "C", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • – HOURS OF WORK & SCHEDULING 15.01 The normal hours of work for an employee are not a guarantee of work per day or per week, or a guarantee of days of work per week. The normal hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours per day, and seventy-five (75) hours in any bi-weekly period.

  • Innovative Scheduling Schedules which are inconsistent with the Collective Agreement provisions may be developed in order to improve quality of working life, support continuity of resident care, ensure adequate staffing resources, and support cost-efficiency. The parties agree that such innovative schedules may be determined locally by the Home and the Union subject to the following principles:
