TRANSPORTATIONALLOWANCE. An employee whose duty period originates or terminates at and who requires public transportation will be issued with a transportation voucher on request. The vouchers will be valid for use on the public transportation companies serving from downtown Montreal and Employees using these vouchers will not be entitled to transportation allowances as specified under Article Employees using forms of transportation other than those specified under Article will be entitled to an allowance of per one-way trip. In the event the Company establishes a separate Base at during the term of the current Collective Agreement, the Company and the Union will negotiate the implementation of the established relocation allowance. This relocation allowance will be applicable to employees from Base who will relocate themselves within the specified radius of the Airport after the implementation of that relocation allowance, This relocation allowance will take effect only at the termination of this Collective Agreement or the opening of a separate Base at whichever occurs later, unless mutually agreed to otherwise by the Company and the Union. Transportation allowances in effect under and will cease to apply in the event the relocation allowance is implemented.

TRANSPORTATIONALLOWANCE. Employees required to use their own vehicles for Employer business shall be remunerated at a rate of thirty-five cents per kilometre for all mileage incurred performing Employer business. Where two (2) or more employees are required to travel on the same day to destinations within fifteen (15) kilometres of each other on Employer business, employees will be required to car-pool, with two (2) employees per vehicle. TRANSPORTATIONALLOWANCE. Transportation for positions requiring the employee to travel on the Employer's business will be paid in the form of a transit fare or mileage allowance or use of an Employer's car as determined by the Employer. If an employee is authorized by their non-bargaining unit manager or designate to use an alternative form of transportation, such as a bicycle, they shall be entitled to compensation equivalent to transit fare.

TRANSPORTATIONALLOWANCE. (a) Where an employee uses their personal vehicle on the Employer business, with the approval of the Employer, they shall receive a mileage allowance per kilometer in accordance with Company Policy for all distance travelled on Employer business. All claims must be reported in kilometers for the calculation of the reimbursement. To convert miles to kilometers multiply by 1.6 (e.g. 100 miles = 160 kilometers). (b) It is each employee’s responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is properly insured for business usage where such usage exceeds the maximum allowable under non- business insurance coverage. Any additional cost of insurance incurred by an employee, beyond the cost of insuring their vehicle for “to and from work”, will be reimbursed by the Employer on proof of expense. Any employee involved in an at-fault accident while using their personal vehicle on employer business shall receive reimbursement from the Employer for the deductible paid as a result of the accident, up to a maximum of $1,000, unless, it is determined that the employee was in breach of their insurance or TransLink’s Travel and Expense Claims policy.
TRANSPORTATIONALLOWANCE. An Employee who normally travels from the facility to their place of residence by means of public transportation following the completion of their duty shift but who is prevented from doing so by being required to remain on duty longer than the Employee’s regular shift and past the time when normal public transportation is available, shall be reimbursed for the cost of reasonable, necessary and substantiated transportation expense from the facility to the Employee’s place of residence. An Employee who is called back to the facility shall be reimbursed for reasonable, necessary and substantiated transportation expenses and, if the Employee travels for such purpose by private automobile, reimbursement shall be at the Good Samaritan rate of forty-two cents ($0.42) per kilometre from the Employee’s residence to the Facility and return. The rate of reimbursement shall be in accordance with the rate for the Employer’s exempt employees and as amended from time to time by the Employer.

  • Transportation Allowance When an employee is required to travel to the Hospital or to return to her home as a result of reporting to or off work between the hours of hours, (other than reporting to or off work for her regular shift) or at any time while on standby, the Hospital will pay transportation costs either by taxi or by her own vehicle at the rate of thirty-five cents ($0.35) per mile (to a maximum of fourteen dollars ($14.00)) or such greater amount as the Hospital may in its discretion determine for each trip between the aforementioned hours.   • Transportation Reimbursement Employees who, during the course of their normal duties, are required to actually transport clients/consumers/felons in their own personal vehicle on a regular basis, are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of an automobile rider to their existing insurance policy. To be eligible for the reimbursement, the employee must demonstrate the following: 1. That he/she is normally required to transport clients/consumers/felons in the course of their duties. 2. That there is no access to or available State vehicles. 3. That public transportation cannot be used. 4. That their insurance company requires a special rider on their existing automobile policy. 5. Proof that such a rider has been purchased. 6. Proof of a valid driver’s license and insurance policy. By receiving such reimbursement, employees acknowledge that they may be required to use their own personal vehicle to transport clients/consumers/felons in the normal course of their duties. The reimbursement to such employee(s) is the actual cost of the rider not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) per year whichever is less. This reimbursement will be paid on a yearly basis in the pay period that includes July 1st. Employees who either resign, retire, or have their employment terminated during the year and employees who start during any part of the year will have the reimbursement prorated. In the case of employees who either retire, resign, or have their employment terminated will have that portion of the reimbursement repaid to the State, in the last paycheck.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.
