Turf Care. This work shall include all labor, materials, superintendence, machinery, insurance, equipment, supplies, incidentals and services to maintain in superior condition all areas in the developed sections of the municipal cemeteries. The activities are to include but are not limited to mowing, edging, fertilizing, irrigating, and controlling insects, and planting grass and vegetation as required. At a minimum, maintenance standards which call for mowing and trimming to keep grounds in an aesthetically pleasant and safe condition shall be met. Such mowing and trimming shall be accomplished on an average 7-14 day cycle adjusted for seasonal demands. Line trim every cycle. Aerification done twice per year in areas where possible. Reseeding or sodding over non-shaded bare spots in late spring; recommend hulled Bermuda 3 lbs per 1,000 sq ft. and 6 lbs winter rye per 1,000 sq ft in fall.

Turf Care. A. MANICURED MOWING: All turf areas contained within the specific management area shall be accomplished so as to provide a uniform cutting height of 2" above soil level of turf, being careful not to remove more than one-third (1/3) of the turf blade at any given mowing frequency. All turf clippings shall be removed via mowing bagging attachments. B. MANICURED EDGING: Curbs, sidewalks, and Xxxxxxx’x within specified areas shall be edged with steel blade equipment. All edging debris shall be removed by choice of blower, vacuum and/or broom, etc. C. MANICURED SOIL BED EDGING: Soil bed shall be edged to maintain a vertical line of separation from surrounding turf. Only mechanical steel blade edgers are to be used. D. MANICURED SOIL TREE RING EDGING: Soil around tree ring shall be edged to maintain a vertical line of separation from surrounding turf. Only mechanical steel blade edgers are to be used. E. TURF TRIMMING: Monofilament trimmers are permitted around light poles, fire hydrants, irrigation vacuum breakers, foundations, steel fences, etc. F. TURF AERATION: Turf Aeration, if requested, will be coring, 3" to 4" in depth and 6" on center with cores left on turf for decomposition. This is an extra to the contract.
Turf Care. Turf shall be mowed on a scheduled basis to maintain a neat appearance and to promote healthy growth. Turf shall be cut at a uniform height and be cut with sharp blades at all times. Care will be exercised during mowing operations to prevent damage to trees and other obstacles in the turf area. All turf edges adjacent to any hardscape areas shall be trimmed as needed to maintain a neat appearance. Care shall be exercised to the use of edger’s and weed eaters to prevent damage to trees, building surfaces, walls, headboard, light fixtures, signage, etc. Urban Habitat will mow all turf areas with mulching mowers, eliminating landfill “green waste”. All turf cuttings will be re-used to reduce fertilization costs. Fertilization is included in this proposal, and will be applied three times annually. Fertilization of turf shall consist of a commercial organic type, either in liquid or granular form. Additional soil amendments may be applied per the results of the soils test and recommendations for treatment shall be made on a case-by-case basis. All treatments shall be approved by an “Additional Work Authorization” contract.
Turf Care. A. All turf areas shall be mowed, edged, and trimmed per the Frequency of Services Table, as set forth in Exhibit E, Schedule II. Should weather and/or site conditions preclude the normally scheduled frequency of this service during any month, or portion thereof, the maintenance schedule shall be modified at the discretion and approval of the Director. B. At the discretion of the Director, turf areas may be mowed with mulching-type mowers of a type acceptable to the City. C. All mowing and edging equipment shall: be in proper working order; have blades properly sharpened, balanced, and aligned; be thoroughly cleaned of all excess clippings, soil, and debris prior to move-in at each site. D. All clippings, soil, and debris generated by mowing and edging operations shall be immediately collected, removed from the site, and disposed of in a legal manner. For the purposes of this Specification the term "site" shall include, but is not limited to, appurtenant hardscaping, sidewalks, curbs and gutters. E. Machines operating on turf known to have a disease, fungus, or insect infestation shall be sterilized with a ten percent (5%) chlorine bleach, and water solution prior to move-in to any other site. F. Mowing height for cool season grasses shall not exceed three inches (3”) maximum, or two inches (2”) minimum, and shall be adjusted within these parameters on a seasonal basis. G. Mowing height for warm season grasses shall not exceed one and one-half inches (1½”) maximum, or three-quarters of an inch (¾”) minimum, and shall be adjusted within these parameters on a seasonal basis. H. All turf borders shall be cut with a vertical blade edger. Use of string trimmers to perform this task is not acceptable. I. Trimming around turf appurtenances (i.e., valve and meter boxes, backflow devices and controller enclosures, sprinklers) may be accomplished with use of string trimmers. J. Whenever trees occur in turf areas, a six-inch (6”) ring of grass shall be removed from around the trunks to protect the crowns from mechanical damage. These rings shall be maintained in a clean, weed free condition. K. Thin areas in turf shall be resodded or reseeded as necessary to prevent invasion of weeds.

  • Standards of Care Seller shall comply with all applicable requirements of Law, the Transmission Provider, Utility Distribution Company, Governmental Approvals, the CAISO, CARB, FERC, NERC and WECC in its scheduling, interconnection, operation and maintenance of the Project and as contemplated by this Agreement. Seller shall (a) acquire and maintain all Governmental Approvals necessary for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Project consistent with Safety Requirements; (b) Notify Buyer of any material modifications or lapse in renewal of Governmental Approvals; and (c) at Buyer’s request, provide to Buyer digital copies of any Governmental Approvals. For the avoidance of doubt, Seller shall be responsible for procuring and maintaining, at its expense, all emissions credits required for operation of the Project throughout the Delivery Term in compliance with Law and to permit operation of the Project in accordance with this Agreement. Promptly following Xxxxx’s written request, Xxxxxx agrees to take all commercially reasonable actions and execute or provide any documents, information, or instruments with respect to Product reasonably necessary to enable Buyer to comply with the requirements of any Governmental Authority. Nothing hereunder shall cause Buyer to assume any liability or obligation with respect to Seller’s compliance obligations with respect to the Project under any new or existing Laws, rules, or regulations.

  • Continuity of Care OMPP is committed to providing continuity of care for members as they transition between various IHCP programs and the Contractor’s enrollment. The Contractor shall have mechanisms in place to ensure the continuity of care and coordination of medically necessary health care services for its Hoosier Healthwise members. The State emphasizes several critically important areas where the Contractor shall address continuity of care. Critical continuity of care areas include, but are not limited to:  Transitions for members receiving HIV, Hepatitis C and/or behavioral health services, especially for those members who have received prior authorization from their previous MCE or through fee-for-service;  Transitions for members who are pregnant;  A member’s transition into the Hoosier Healthwise program from traditional fee-for- service or HIP;  A member’s transition between MCEs, particularly during an inpatient stay;  A member’s transition between IHCP programs, Members exiting the Hoosier Healthwise program to receive excluded services;  A member’s exiting the Hoosier Healthwise program to receive excluded services;  A member’s transition to a new PMP;  A member’s transition to private insurance or Marketplace coverage; and  A member’s transition to no coverage. In situations such as a member or PMP disenrollment, the Contractor shall facilitate care coordination with other MCEs or other PMPs. When receiving members from another MCE or fee-for-service, the Contractor shall honor the previous care authorizations for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days from the member’s date of enrollment with the Contractor. Contractor shall establish policies and procedures for identifying outstanding prior authorization decisions at the time of the member’s enrollment in their plan. For purposes of clarification, the date of member enrollment for purposes of the prior authorization time frames set forth in this section begin on the date the Contractor receives the member’s fully eligible file from the State. Additionally, when a member transitions to another source of coverage, the Contractor shall be responsible for providing the receiving entity with information on any current service authorizations, utilization data and other applicable clinical information such as disease management, case management or care management notes. This process shall be overseen by the Transition Coordination Manager. The Contractor will be responsible for care coordination after the member has disenrolled from the Contractor whenever the member disenrollment occurs during an inpatient stay. In these cases, the Contractor will remain financially responsible for the hospital DRG payment and any outlier payments (without a capitation payment) until the member is discharged from the hospital or the member’s eligibility in Medicaid terminates. The Contractor shall coordinate discharge plans with the member’s new MCE. See Section 3.7.5 for additional requirements regarding continuity of care for behavioral health services. The Hoosier Healthwise MCE Policies and Procedures Manual describes the Contractor’s continuity and coordination of care responsibilities in more detail.

  • QUALITY OF CARE (a) The PHP shall assure that any and all eligible beneficiaries receive partial hospitalization services which comply with standards in Article 3.3

  • Coordination of Care (a) The MA Dual SNP is responsible for coordinating the delivery of all benefits covered by both Medicare and Medicaid for Dual Eligible Members and Other Dual SNP Members who are eligible for LTSS including when benefits are delivered via Medicaid fee-for-service, making reasonable efforts to coordinate Medicare Advantage benefits provided by the MA Dual SNP with LTSS provided through Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the STAR+PLUS HMOs. Coordination of Care must include the following for these members: (1) identify providers of covered Medicaid LTSS in the Texas service areas identified in Attachment A, Proposed MA Product Service Areas; (2) help access needed Medicaid LTSS, to the extent they are available to the member; (3) help coordinate the delivery of Medicaid LTSS and Medicare benefits and services; and (4) provide training to its Network Providers regarding Medicaid LTSS so that they may help members receive needed LTSS that are not covered by Medicare. The MA Dual SNP must inform Network Providers of the Medicare benefits and Medicaid LTSS available to Dual Eligible Members and Other Dual SNP Members. (b) The MA Dual SNP’s Coordination of Care efforts for LTSS may include protocols for working with STAR+PLUS service coordinators or HHSC caseworkers, as well as protocols for reciprocal referral and communication of data and clinical information regarding Dual Eligible Members with the coordinators and caseworkers. (c) MA Dual SNPs that are not designated as HIDE-SNPs by CMS must provide timely notification of all admissions to a hospital and SNF to the STAR+PLUS MCO via a secure file transfer. The file shall be organized and populated in accordance with the template provided by HHSC. For the purposes of this section, timely notification is defined as no later than two business days from which the MA Dual SNP becomes aware that a High Risk Dual Eligible Member has been admitted. If the MA Dual SNP delegates responsibility for information sharing to its contracted hospitals and SNFs, the MA Dual SNP will require its contracted hospitals and SNFs meet the same information sharing requirements on admissions as required of the MA Dual SNP by this Agreement. The MA Dual SNP retains ultimate responsibility for compliance with the information sharing requirements in this Agreement. (d) The MA Dual SNP is responsible for the coordination of both Medicare and Medicaid benefits, regardless of whether a Dual Eligible Member is enrolled with the MA Dual SNP’s companion Health Plan for Medicaid. (e) The MA Dual SNP must provide HHSC with the name of the contact person at the MA Dual SNP who must be responsible for the coordination of care for dual eligible members. The MA Dual SNP must provide the following information to the HHSC designated point of contact referenced in Section 9.06: the MA Dual SNP coordination of care contact person’s name, telephone number, and e-mail address. (f) The MA Dual SNP must also establish a contact person with each STAR+PLUS MCO and provide the same information required in (d) to each STAR+PLUS MCO.

  • Child Care The County will continue to support the concept of non-profit child care facilities similar to the “Kid’s at Work” program established in the Public Works Department.

  • Due Care The Recipient will exercise the same degree of care with respect to the Confidential Information it receives from the Discloser as it normally takes to safeguard and preserve its own confidential and proprietary information, which in all cases will be at least a commercially reasonable level of care.

  • Standard of Care In the absence of willful misfeasance, bad faith, gross negligence or reckless disregard of obligations or duties hereunder on the part of the Sub-Advisor, the Sub-Advisor shall not be subject to liability to the Advisor, the Trust or to any shareholder of the Portfolio for any act or omission in the course of, or connected with, rendering services hereunder or for any losses that may be sustained in the purchase, holding or sale of any security.

  • Degree of Care Any executed orders to be used as Bankers' Acceptances shall be held in safekeeping with the same degree of care as if they were the Lender's own property, and shall be kept at the place at which such orders are ordinarily held by such Lender.
