Union Leave Requests. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event that it is impracticable to request leave within the time lines specified in this Article, such request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Union Leave Requests. The parties agree to continue the current practice with respect to requests for union leave on days where an employee may not have been actually scheduled to work, and further agree to continue the current practice with respect to union reimbursement to the employer for salary and benefit continuation on such days until March 31, 2019.   • Leave Requests All requests for leaves of absence must be in writing.

  • Leave Request 1. The employee will provide notice to the University that includes the anticipated dates of absence and the type of leave the employee wishes to use during the absence. When the request for leave is for medical reasons, the employee will also provide a doctor’s statement to the University.

  • Union Leave Leave of absence for Union business shall be given without pay up to a maximum of (as per the local provisions under L19) days per calendar year provided such leave does not interfere with the continuance of efficient operation of the Hospital. Such leave shall be subject to the following conditions:

  • Union Leaves Employees on Union Leaves will be treated as provided in Article 18 (Q) while working on Union leave.

  • Union Leave of Absence An employee on an unpaid Union leave of absence shall have her wages, benefits and seniority continued by the Employer, and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for the costs of such wages and benefits. Employees requesting leave under this article will provide the Employer with as much advance notice as possible of the dates of the leave. Where there are less than fifteen (15) regular employees at a workstation at the time the leave request is submitted, and subject to operational requirements, unpaid Union leave of absence will be granted to one employee for the purpose of conducting Union business. This would be an additional person on Union leave at worksites where the position of the Union President or Council member has been backfilled for the duration of their term of office. A leave of absence without pay shall be granted to an employee who is a member of the Union and who is:

  • EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE 1. Military leave without pay shall be granted to any employee who is inducted in any branch of the armed forces of the United States for the period of said service.

  • Parental Leave/Adoption Leave (a) An employee who requests leave under paragraph (i), (ii), or
