Union Leave Days Clause Samples
The Union Leave Days clause establishes the right of union members or representatives to take time off from their regular work duties to participate in union-related activities. Typically, this clause outlines the number of days allowed, the process for requesting leave, and whether such leave is paid or unpaid. For example, it may permit union stewards to attend negotiations, training, or conferences without loss of pay or benefits. The core function of this clause is to ensure that union representatives can effectively fulfill their roles without facing workplace penalties, thereby supporting fair labor representation and communication between employees and management.
