VACATING THE UNIT. The Tenant shall on the Termination Date of this Agreement (for whatever reason) immediately vacate the Unit and at his cost, restore possession of the Unit and all keys, remotes, tags for the Premises to the Landlord in the same good order and condition as he received it, fair wear and tear excepted. Upon termination of this Agreement, the Tenant will arrange a joint inspection of the Unit with the Landlord at a mutually convenient time to determine if any damage was caused to the Unit during the Tenant’s occupation thereof. If the Tenant fails to arrange such an inspection or fails to attend such mutually arranged inspection, the Landlord will inspect the Unit without the Tenant being present and its inspection sheet shall be final and binding on the Parties as to the condition of the Unit and the Communal Areas on the Termination Date.
VACATING THE UNIT. At the end of your license term, you must vacate the unit and leave it in broom clean condition. You will notify Yale Housing of your intentions to vacate during the March Housing Intent process and do the following before departure: You will remove all of your belongings from the unit and storage areas and return all keys. Except as may be otherwise provided in this contract, you will be charged the full amount of the license fee through the last month of the contract even if you vacate before the end of the contract period. You will be responsible for any charges that the University may incur, including cleaning charges, as a result of your failure to remove your possessions and leave the unit in broom clean condition. Any belongings left in the unit or storage areas will be deemed abandoned and will be disposed of at your expense. Yale Housing will inspect the unit after you have vacated to determine if you have complied with move out procedures.
VACATING THE UNIT. The Resident must vacate the Unit no later than 12 noon on the Move-Out Date applicable to your Residence Term. Vacating the Unit means cleaning the Unit to the condition at the Occupancy Date, completing the outgoing Unit Inspection Checklist, returning all keys, access card or tags, and removing all persons and personal possessions from the Unit. Upon checkout, you must leave the mattress protector and all other linens borrowed from the Operator, if any, folded on the bed in plain sight (not in a drawer, on a shelf, in a closet, or anywhere else) of the Unit. Failure to do so may result in an Assessment for the missing item. If you fail to vacate the Unit when required pursuant to this Agreement, in addition to the Operator’s other remedies, you will pay all the Operator’s costs arising from such failure to vacate including, without limitation, the cost to the Operator incurred to clean your Unit and to provide accommodations for the incoming resident who is scheduled to take possession of your Unit. Any of your personal property and the personal property of your guests remaining on the Operator’s premises after the termination of this Agreement (whether by expiry, early termination or abandonment), will be removed and disposed of without compensation to any person and you will be charged for such costs incurred. The Operator will be under no obligation to store any such belongings remaining on the Operator’s premises or to sell them or otherwise recover their value. In the event the Operator chooses to store any of your property left on the premises, you are responsible for the Operator’s cost of doing so, and any subsequent disposal costs. The Resident shall not allow conditions to exist that, in the opinion of the Operator, may encourage the infestation or propagation of insects, rodents or other vermin. You are required to promptly report the presence or suspected presence of pests (including bedbugs) to the Operator. Personnel authorized by the Operator may enter your Unit, without notice and without your presence, to inspect for pests. Should, in the opinion of the Operator, treatment be required, you will be required to comply with the prescribed treatment methods and protocol which may include preparing your Unit and any personal possessions for scheduled treatment. VACATING THE UNIT. Upon vacating a Unit the Student must complete the mandatory check-out procedure. The Student’s Unit must be inspected for damage and the RCR signed, unless the Student waives their right to dispute and completes an Express Checkout Form. If the Student is withdrawing before the end of the semester, Student must contact Academic Advising to complete the process. Should the Student not complete the check-out process, Student will be fined $75 and any Unit and/or common area damage will automatically be added to the Student’s xxxx. Abandonment: Students are responsible for removing all items when a Unit or suite is vacated. Any items left in any Unit after voluntary or involuntary termination of the Contract will be considered abandoned. The College does not take responsibility for any items left in the Unit/suite. If a Student has left belongings in their Unit for more than five business days, the Office of Residence Life will dispose of the items and the Student’s account will be assessed for cleaning. VACATING THE UNIT. Other than for an involuntary termination of this Lease, a Tenant must give a written 30 day notice that the Tenant will be vacating the unit. VACATING THE UNIT. When the tenant wishes to vacate the unit and terminate the contract, he/she shall notify the Landlord fifteen (15) days in advance. He/She shall further notify the Landlord when all contents have been removed from the unit, including the tenants lock. The tenant shall be liable for rent until all conditions for vacating are fulfilled.

VACATING THE UNIT. Regardless of the reason, when You move out of the Unit, You are required to ensure the Unit, including Unit common areas, furnishing, fixtures, and other items listed on the Apartment Inventory and Receipt Form are in as good a condition as they were when You moved in (absent ordinary wear and tear), the Unit and common areas are clean and sanitary, and all Your personal belongings and property are removed.
7.1. You must follow the procedures for moving out of the Unit in the Agreement and Community Guidelines and complete all check out forms.
7.2. Failure to leave the Unit in a clean and sanitary condition after You move out will result in You being charged a Cleaning Fee, or in the case of common area a prorated portion of that fee. You may also be charged for any required or necessary repairs.
