Vacation Leave for Part Sample Clauses

Vacation Leave for Part time Employees: Regularly assigned part-time employees will be granted prorated vacation leave, based on average hours per day. The hours per day will be calculated on January 1 and July 1 of each year. This calculation will be figured by taking the total number of regular and overtime hours worked and dividing by the number of work days in that six (6) month period. The average hours will be rounded to the nearest half-tenth and vacation will be prorated using that figure for the next six (6) months. No adjustments will be made retroactively unless the position's scheduled hours are increased by the District.

Vacation Leave for Part time Employees A part-time trial service or regular employee working fifty percent (50%) of the equivalent full-time position shall accrue vacation leave on a pro rata basis.   • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:

  • Annual Vacation Leave 30.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.

  • Use of Vacation Leave for Sick Leave Purposes The Employer may allow an employee who has used all of his or her sick leave to use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 A. An employee who has used all of his or her sick leave may use vacation leave for sick leave purposes as provided in Article 12.2 B – H.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A.   • Restoration of Vacation Leave In the event an employee is injured or becomes ill while on vacation leave, the employee may submit a written request to use sick leave and have the equivalent amount of vacation leave restored. The supervisor may require a written medical certificate.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.

  • Sick Leave Allowance Faculty with a full-time assignment shall accrue sick leave at the rate of eight

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave Where, during any period of vacation leave, an employee is recalled to duty, such employee shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that such employee incurs:
