Academic Advising. The College and School District shall offer comprehensive college advising services for all dual credit and ECHS students consisting of group advising using NC Student Planning, face-to-face or online advising with the College's ECHS advisor. Academic Advising. Occupational Education Faculty. Each student electing an occupational program leading to an Associate Degree or an Occupational Certificate will be assigned to a professional faculty member qualified in the student's elected course of study, for the purpose of advising. The professional faculty member will tailor a program to fit each student's needs based on the student's work experience, interests, ambitions, qualifications, and ability.

Academic Advising means to assist students in making appropriate decisions about academic programs and career goals, including general knowledge related to graduation requirements, specific program-related curriculum knowledge, and career-related guidance.
