Clarification of Bidding Documents. 10.1 The prospective bidder requiring any clarification of the bidding documents may notify the Employer in writing or by cable (hereinafter the term cable is deemed to include telex, email and facsimile) at the Employer’s mailing address indicated in the Bidding Data.
10.2 The Employer will respond in writing to any request for clarification that he receives earlier than five (5) days prior to the deadline for the submission of bids. Copies of the Employer’s response to queries raised by bidders (including an explanation of the query but without identifying the sources of the inquiry) will be sent to all prospective bidders who will have purchased the bidding documents.

9.2 Pre-bid meeting
9.2.1 The bidder or his official representative is invited to attend a pre-bid meeting, which will take place at Office of the Project Director, World Bank Projects, SWaRA Bhawan Link Road no-3,Water Resources Department, Bhopal (M. P.) on 18.04.2013 at 15.00 Hrs.
9.2.2 The purpose of the meeting will be to clarify issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be raised at that stage.
9.2.3 The bidder is requested to submit any questions in writing or by cable to reach the Employer not later than one week before the meeting.
9.2.4 Minutes of the meeting, including the text of the questions raised (without identifying the source of enquiry) and the responses given will be transmitted without delay to all purchasers of the bidding documents. Any modification of the bidding documents listed in Sub-Clause 8.1, which may become necessary as a result of the pre-bid meeting shall be made by the Employer exclusively through the issue of an Addendum pursuant to Clause 10 and not through the minutes of the pre-bid meeting.
9.2.5 Non-attendance at the pre-bid meeting will not be a cause for disqualification of a bidder.
Clarification of Bidding Documents. 6.1 A prospective Bidder requiring any clarification of the bidding documents may notify the Purchaser in writing or by email at the Purchaser’s address indicated in ITB Clause 19.1. The Purchaser will respond in writing to any request for clarification of the bidding documents which it receives no later than three (3) days prior to the deadline for the submission of bids prescribed in the Bid Data Sheet. Written copies of the Purchaser’s response (including an explanation of the query but without identifying the source of inquiry) will be sent to all prospective bidders that have received the bidding documents.

Written copies of the procuring agency’s response (including an explanation of the query but without identifying the source of inquiry) shall be sent to all prospective bidders that have received the bidding documents.
Clarification of Bidding Documents. 2.1 Bidders shall promptly notify Purchasing staff of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover upon examination of the bidding documents.
2.2 Questions regarding the meaning, interpretation or clarification of any solicitation provision should be submitted through Ebid under the Questions tab. The Owner is not obligated to respond to questions that are received after the Question Cutoff date and time in Ebid.
2.3 Changes made to the bidding documents may be issued electronically via addendum in Ebid. Addendums are issued by Purchasing prior to the closing date for solicitations which modify or interpret the bidding document by addition, deletion, clarification, or correction.
2.4 Oral interpretations or changes to the bidding documents made in any manner other than written form will not be binding on the Owner; and Bidders shall not rely upon such interpretations or changes.

If any Bidder requires any further information or clarification in the Bidding Documents, may notify the Company before one week of last date of submission of online Bid, in writing or by E-mail at the GIPCL's mailing address xxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx as indicated in the 'Invitation to Bids'. The GIPCL's response (including an explanation of the query) will be sent in writing or by E-mail to all prospective Bidders who have received the Bidding Documents.
Clarification of Bidding Documents. 4.1 Bidders shall promptly notify the Purchasing Agent of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error which they may discover upon examination of the bidding documents.
4.2 Bidders desiring clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents for formal bids shall make a written request which must reach the Purchasing Agent at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date and time for receipt of formal bids.
4.3 Changes made to the bidding documents will be issued electronically via addendum. All vendors registered for that bid prior to bid issuance will be notified of the addendum. Bidders registering after the bid is issued will receive the bid with the addendum included.
4.4 Oral interpretations or changes to the bidding documents made in any manner other than written form will not be binding on the City; and Bidders shall not rely upon such interpretations or changes.
Clarification of Bidding Documents. 8.1 A prospective Bidder requiring any clarification(s) of the Bidding Documents may notify GGPL in writing or by fax or email at GGPL's mailing address indicated in the BDS no later than 02 (two) days prior to pre-bid meeting (in cases where pre-bid meeting is scheduled) or 05 (five) days prior to the due date of submission of bid in cases where pre-bid meeting is not held. GGPL reserves the right to ignore the bidders request for clarification if received after the aforesaid period. GGPL may respond in writing to the request for clarification. GGPL's response including an explanation of the query, but without identifying the source of the query will be uploaded on GGPL‟s tendering web site xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.xx communicated to prospective bidders by e-mail/ fax.
8.2 Any clarification or information required by the Bidder but same not received by the Employer at clause 8.1 (refer BDS for address) above is liable to be considered as "no clarification / information required".
