USE OF VEHICLE. ‌ 5.1 You must not: (a) operate the Vehicle: (i) whilst intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or with a blood alcohol content or drug concentration that exceeds the legal limit set by law in the state or territory where the Vehicle is driven; or (ii) in a dangerous, wilful or reckless manner; or (iii) whilst the Vehicle is unsafe or in an unroadworthy condition unless directed by a government authority; or (b) use the Vehicle: (i) for any illegal purpose; (ii) in any area where applicable travel restrictions of clause 11 of this Agreement apply unless authorised by thl in writing; (iii) for carrying persons for hire, gain or reward, or to carry any inflammable, explosive or corrosive materials, fuel or generators; (iv) for pushing or towing any Vehicle, trailer, boat or other object; (v) for carrying any greater load and/or more persons and/or for a purpose for which the Vehicle is not designed and constructed; (vi) for racing, pacemaking, reliability trials, speed trials, hill climbing or being tested in preparation for those activities; (vii) for illicit drug use or carrying illegal substances, product or drug paraphernalia; (viii) for commercial purposes or financial gain; (ix) for carrying passengers when You, any Joint Renter or Authorised Driver are not appropriately licensed; or (x) for subletting or hiring the Vehicle to any other person; (c) smoke in or within 5 metres of the Vehicle; (d) modify or make any alteration to the Vehicle; (e) damage the Vehicle deliberately or recklessly or allow anyone else to do so; or (f) sell, rent, lease or dispose of the Vehicle.

USE OF VEHICLE. 4.1 The Vehicle may only be utilised for the Rental Period, as stated in the Rental Agreement, or any Extended Period agreed upon between the parties. 4.2 The Client agrees that any Extended Period noted on Europcar’s records would correctly reflect such Extended Period. 4.3 The Vehicle may only be driven by the Client, Driver or Additional Driver. The Driver or Additional Driver must have his valid unendorsed Driver’s license with him at all time when driving the Vehicle. 4.4 During the Rental Period or any Extended Period thereof, the Vehicle may not be used: 4.4.1 to propel or tow any other vehicle (including any caravan or trailer unless prior written authorisation is provided by Europcar); and / or 4.4.2 for the conveyance of passengers and / or goods for payment in violation of any laws or in any other illegal manner; and / or 4.4.3 in any motor sport or similar high-risk activity; and / or 4.4.4 beyond the borders of the country in which the Vehicle is rented (unless prior written authorisation is provided by Europcar); and / or 4.4.5 in any area where the Client should reasonably be aware that there is or may be a risk or incidents of civil unrest, political disturbance or riot or any activity associated with any of the mentioned. 4.5 The Client shall make adequate provision for the safety and security of the Vehicle when the Vehicle is not in use, in that the Vehicle shall (including but not limited to the following) be kept properly locked, secured and immobilized and have the alarm (if any) activated. 4.6 The Client will make sure that the keys of the Vehicle are under his control at all times. 4.7 Europcar will at all times remain the owner of the Vehicle. 4.8 The Client may not use the Vehicle in contravention of any applicable laws, ordinances, traffic rules and regulations at any time during the Rental Period. In the event the Client uses the Vehicle in contravention of any applicable laws, ordinances, traffic rules and regulations at any time during the Rental Period, any Waiver option the Client may have taken out shall become null and void. 4.9 The Client shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the Vehicle remains in good and safe working order, including regularly checking the oil, water and tyre pressure, immediately ceasing use of the Vehicle in the event the Vehicle is damaged or the electronic diagnostics of the vehicle indicate the presence of a fault or problem or service needed in relation to the Vehicle. 4.10 The Client ac...
USE OF VEHICLE. Any employee in the bargaining unit required to use his/her vehicle on District business shall be reimbursed at the current District rate per mile for all miles driven between sites on behalf of the District.
USE OF VEHICLE. 6.1. During the Rental Period, the Vehicle may only be driven by the Driver and/or the Additional Driver as recorded on the Rental Form. 6.2. During the Rental Period, the Vehicle may not be used: 6.2.1. for the conveyance of passengers and/or goods for a reward; 6.2.2. to propel or tow any other vehicle, (including any caravan or trailer) unless authorised by the Lessor in writing; 6.2.3. recklessly or driven in a manner which is unsafe; 6.2.4. for any purpose for which the Vehicle was not intended; 6.2.5. for any illegal purpose of any nature whatsoever, to transport goods in violation of any customs laws or in any other illegal manner; 6.2.6. in any motor sport or similar high risk activity; 6.2.7. beyond the borders of the Republic of South Africa (South Africa) unless authorised by the Lessor in writing; or 6.2.8. in any area where there is or may be a risk of, or any activity associated with, incidents of civil unrest, political disturbance or riot. 6.3. If the Renter uses the Vehicle in breach of his obligations under clause 6, the Renter acknowledges that if it has purchased any of the Waivers in respect of such Vehicle, such Waivers may not apply in respect of any loss, theft of or Damage to the Vehicle. 6.4. The Renter shall, for the duration of the Rental Period: 6.4.1. make adequate provision for the safety and security of the Vehicle including keeping the Vehicle properly locked, secured and immobilised when not in use; activating the burglar alarm and vehicle tracking or monitoring system (if any); and ensuring that any anti-theft device in the Vehicle is properly secured and in place; and 6.4.2. take all reasonable steps to ensure that the Vehicle remains in good and safe working order, including regularly checking the oil, water and tyre pressure, immediately ceasing all use of the Vehicle (and contacting the Lessor) should the electronic diagnostics of the Vehicle indicate the presence of a fault or problem in relation to the Vehicle and undertaking reasonable inspections of the Vehicle before and after use. 6.5. The Renter will ensure that the keys of the Vehicle are under the Renter’s control at all times.

USE OF VEHICLE. The Hirer shall ensure that the Vehicle: (a) is driven in a safe and diligent manner and due care is exercised at all times; and (b) is NOT driven on any beaches, unmaintained roads, through any saltwater including when roads under water at high tides or used to launch a boat - $5,000 damage fee applies. (c) $500 Cut/Polish fee applies for any fresh scratches and/or paint damage on Vehicle body panels.
USE OF VEHICLE. W hen an employee is requested by the employer to use their own vehicle for the convenience of the employer, they shall be compensated at the rate of thirty ($0.30) cents per kilometer. If large materials or company tools are transported by the employee, they shall receive an additional eight ($0.08) cents per kilometre.

USE OF VEHICLE. 5.1 The Hirer shall use the Vehicle for the purposes of its business but shall not use or permit the Vehicle to be used for any purpose for which it is not expressly designed, in particular the Hirer will not use or permit the Vehicle to be used for hire, driving tuition, racing, pace making or competing in any rally nor for propelling or towing of any other Vehicle or any trailer (unless so designed), nor for any illegal purpose whatsoever. 5.2 The Hirer agrees that it will not: 5.2.1 use the Vehicle for the carriage of loads in excess of the legal carrying capacity of the Vehicle or distribute loads unevenly; 5.2.2 exceed any of the manufacturer's recommendations in the use of the Vehicle; 5.2.3 use the Vehicle, or permit its use in any manner, infringing any statute regulation or order relating to the driving and parking of the Vehicle or so as to cause danger to the public or persons in the Vehicle or risk damage to the Vehicle; 5.2.4 carry on the Vehicle any goods, materials or produce which may damage the Vehicle or render it unfit to carry any other type of merchandise; 5.2.5 without the prior consent of the Lessor effect any mechanical or other modifications to the Vehicle, make any alterations or additions, fit any towing equipment or other accessories or non-standard tyres, and any such additions, alterations or modified parts which may be made (whether with or without consent) shall become part of the Vehicle and shall belong to the Lessor; 5.2.6 remove or interfere with any identification marks or plates affixed to the Vehicle nor attempt nor purport to do so nor permit the same; 5.2.7 deface the paintwork or bodywork of the Vehicle nor add or erect any painting, sign-writing, lettering or advertising to or on the Vehicle unless agreed by the Lessor. In the event that the Lessor grants such permission for any of the aforementioned alterations it will be on the express understanding that the Vehicle must be reinstated to a satisfactory condition upon return.
USE OF VEHICLE. Upon executing this Rental Agreement, Driver acknowledges and agrees that they may not: ▪ use or allow the vehicle to be used for the transport of passengers for cash or consideration; ▪ sublet or rent the vehicle to any other person; ▪ allow the vehicle to be used outside Driver’s authority; ▪ operate the vehicle or allow it to be operated in circumstances that constitute an offence under the laws and regulations of Saudi Arabia; ▪ operate the vehicle or allow it to be operated in any race, speed test, reliability trial, rally or contest, or operated on any race or rally circuit or in any event as a pace-maker or testing in preparation for any of them; ▪ operate the vehicle, or allow it to be operated, in breach of any regulations, rules or bylaws relating to road traffic; ▪ operate the vehicle or allow it to be operated for the transport of more passengers or goods than the maximum specified in the certificate of loading and/or road user charge certificate, whichever is the lesser, for the vehicle; ▪ drive or allow the vehicle to be driven by any person if at the time of driving the vehicle the driver does not hold a current full valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle; ▪ drive or allow the vehicle to be driven on any roads, beach, driveway, or surface likely to damage the vehicle; ▪ drive or allow to drive the vehicle beyond the specified area without prior written consent from Owner; ▪ allow the vehicle to be driven by any person who is not named or described in the Rental Agreement as a person permitted to drive the vehicle; ▪ release the vehicle to another third party or those learning how to drive; ▪ allow any intoxicated person or a person under the influence of drugs to drive the vehicle; ▪ operate the vehicle or allow it to be operated to propel or tow any other vehicle; ▪ transport any animal in the vehicle unless otherwise obtained the written consent of Owner or expressly stated in the Rental Agreement; ▪ operate or allow the vehicle to be used in involvement with any illegal activity; or ▪ allow any person to smoke in the vehicle. Driver shall bear consequences in case they violate the such conditions.
