Vacation Entitlement i) A transferring employee will accrue vacation in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.
Annual Vacation Entitlement (a) An Employee shall be entitled to receive annual vacation leave with pay:
Vacation Entitlements In case of discharge or resignation, the employee shall receive all vacation entitlements and salary due to the date of termination, except as provided in Articles 33.05 and 33.07.
Sick Leave Entitlement A permanent, full-time employee shall earn paid sick leave at the rate of one day per month. Sick leave shall accumulate to a maximum total of 30 days.
Vacation Credits Upon Death Earned but unused vacation entitlement shall be made payable, upon termination due to death, to the employee's dependent, or where there is no dependent, to the employee's estate.
Benefits Upon Layoff Regular employees who have completed three months of service and are receiving an allowance pursuant to Clause 21.4, 21.5 and/or 21.6 shall continue to receive that allowance upon layoff, until the allowance has been exhausted, provided the notice of layoff is given after the commencement of the leave.
Payment upon Termination In the event that the City or Consultant terminates this Agreement pursuant to Section 8, the City shall compensate the Consultant for all outstanding costs and reimbursable expenses incurred for work satisfactorily completed as of the date of written notice of termination. Consultant shall maintain adequate logs and timesheets in order to verify costs incurred to that date. The City shall have no obligation to compensate Consultant for work not verified by logs or timesheets.
