Accountable Officer. You must appoint a person (the “Accountable Officer”) responsible for ensuring that You use the Grant in compliance with the Agreement and notify Us of the identity of the Accountable Officer. We must approve the appointment of any person who is not the Chief Executive Officer or Chief Financial Officer.
Accountable Officer.
8.1 The Recipient must ensure that it appoints and maintains during the Term of the Funded Activities Annexure an Accountable Officer for the purposes of the Skills Agreement.
8.2 The Recipient must ensure that the person it appoints as the Accountable Officer has the following minimum qualifications:
(a) hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or higher related qualification; and
(b) have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
Accountable Officer. The Accountable Officer must maintain oversight of your use of the Award and: safeguard, control and ensure the efficient, economical and effective management of the Award; advise you on the discharge of your responsibilities under this Winner’s Agreement or any guidance or other information notified by Ofwat; ensure that principles of probity, robust governance, transparency and value for money are maintained at all times in relation to the Award; be responsible for signing the accounts relating to the Award, ensuring that they are properly prepared and presented and that proper accounting records are maintained in a form that complies with the Regulatory Accounting Guidelines as amended from time to time; ensure that conflicts of interest are avoided or managed in accordance with the requirements of the Challenge terms and conditions set out at Annex 1; cooperate with and provide all such information as Ofwat may reasonably require in connection with the Project and the use of the Award; and notify Ofwat in the event that you become aware that the Award or any part of it has been used in a manner not compliant with the terms of this Winner’s Agreement. Reduction and Recovery of Award Ofwat reserves the right to direct you to repay all or part of the Award if you fail to comply with any term of this Winner’s Agreement. You must repay any part of the Award not spent at the end of the Project or (if earlier) at the date of termination (for any reason) of this Winner’s Agreement. You must promptly repay any overpayment made to you for any reason in connection with this Winner’s Agreement. Accountable Officer. The Accountable Officer will be the Chief Executive of CTMUHB, who will liaise closely with the lead NHS Wales Chief Executive for Imaging.
Accountable Officer. 6.1 The Recipient must appoint an Accountable Officer who is responsible for ensuring that the Recipient uses the Grant in compliance with the Agreement.
6.2 The identity of the Accountable Officer must be approved by Salix prior to the commencement of the Project, and the identity of such person shall not change during the period prior to Practical Completion without the prior written consent of Salix.
6.3 The Accountable Officer must:
6.3.1 maintain oversight of the Recipient’s use of the Grant and safeguard, control and ensure the efficient, economical and effective management of the Grant;
6.3.2 advise the Recipient on the discharge of the Recipient’s responsibilities under the Agreement;
6.3.3 ensure that principles of probity, robust governance, transparency and value for money are maintained at all times in relation to the utilisation of the Grant; and
6.3.4 ensure that conflicts of interest are avoided.
Accountable Officer. Before submitting a Grant Claim for the First Grant Instalment, the Recipient must appoint the Representative stated in the Conditional Grant Offer Letter who is responsible for: advising the Recipient and Project Partners on an ongoing basis on: their responsibilities in connection with this Grant Agreement; any subsequent terms and conditions agreed by the Parties; and any guidance or other information notified by the Authority or HM Government; making decisions and providing any information on behalf of the Recipient (and who is authorised to do so by the Recipient); ensuring that any conditions on the Recipient receiving Grant Funding (including the Grant Pre-conditions) are met; putting in place all necessary safeguards and controls to ensure the efficient, economical and effective management of the Grant; ensuring that financial considerations, including any issues of propriety, regularity and value for money, are taken into account at all stages in relation to the Grant; signing accounts relating to the Grant, ensuring that such accounts are properly prepared and presented and that proper accounting records are maintained, and complying with generally accepted accounting practices to which the Recipient is subject; and putting in place formal procedures to monitor for, and notify the Authority of, conflicts of interest and Financial Irregularities in accordance with clause 22, (the Accountable Officer). The Recipient will notify the Authority in advance of any replacement for the Accountable Officer including the replacement's full name, phone number and email address.
Accountable Officer. The individuals appointed to these roles shall hold similar appointments in respect of the Lead Home Nation. For the avoidance of doubt, the appointed individuals shall be and remain employees of the Lead Home Nation. If the Lead Home Nation replaces its GB Performance Director, Chief Executive Officer (or equivalent officer) or Head Coach, such replacement shall also be appointed to the similar role for GB Badminton, as the case may be;
8.1.3. In the case of 8.1.2.1, a representative of the Board will be invited to take part in the selection process for the role
8.1.4. In the case of 8.1.2.4, the role will be the Chief Executive of the Lead Home Nation and will be the Accountable Officer for the GB WCPP and Paralympic Programme
8.1.5. Coordinate and assist the preparation of the GB Performance Plan (or equivalent name) by the GB Performance Director and submit to UK Sport and the BGB Board for approval in line with the timeline required by UK Sport
8.1.6. Ensure that the GB Performance Plan shall also contain a detailed budget submission to UK Sport – such budget to be approved by the BGB Board
8.1.7. Following approval of the GB Performance Plan by UK Sport, copies will be sent to the respective Home Country Sports Councils for their reference;
8.1.8. Enter into a funding agreement with UK Sport. The Lead Home Nation shall comply with all obligations under the funding agreement with UK Sport and, so far as within its control, ensure that any obligations which relate to GB Badminton are performed in accordance with their terms. The Lead Home Nation shall ensure all funding received from UK Sport for GB Badminton are used solely for the purpose of GB Badminton and the GB Performance Plan
8.1.9. Report annually to the BGB Board on the performance of the Lead Home Nation Performance Plan and, in particular, actual performance against the GB Performance Plan. The report shall be submitted in writing to the BGB Board at least 10 days before the meeting of the BGB Board at which the report is to be considered.
