Accrual of Personal Leave. The entitlement to paid personal carer’s leave shall accrue and be credited to Employees each month on a pro-rata basis of nominal hours worked or paid in accordance with the AFPCS.

Buyback of personal leave accumulation will be allowed during the term of this Agreement, subject to the approval of the Employer (based upon availability of funds) to a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours per year.

Accrual of Personal Leave. (a) The balance of personal leave entitlements which have not been taken in any year, shall be cumulative from year to year, provided that, following a transmission of business on or after 2 September 1980, an Employee who worked with the transmittor and who continues in the service of the transmittee the amount of accumulated sick leave which exceeds 224 hours shall be disregarded. The definitions of transmission, transmittor and transmittee are contained in the Long Service Leave clause.
Accrual of Personal Leave. Each eligible employee shall be granted three (3) days of paid personal leave during each fiscal year. For the purposes of personal leave accrual, one day shall be equal to one-fifth of an employee’s regular hours per week. Employees will accrue one-twelfth of the annual personal leave for each full calendar month of service.
