Base Wage Rates a. The base wage rates of bargaining unit classifications will be as set forth in Appendix A of this MOA.
Base Wage Rates. The base rates will continue to increase each year in accordance with the Annual Wage Increase and Cost of Living Adjustments above. The base rates for all new employees effective January 1, 2022, are outlined under Exhibit A.

Base Wage Rates. A. The base wage rates and ranges of employees and classifications covered by this MOU are set forth in Appendixes A and B of this MOU. Appendix A reflects an increase in base wage rates of four (4) percent of June 30, 2019 base wage rates effective July 1, 2019. Appendix B further increases base wage rates as follows:
1. An increase in base wage rates of four percent (4%) of June 30, 2020 base wage rates, effective July 1, 2020;
2. An increase in base wage rates of four percent (4%) of June 30, 2021 base wage rates, effective July 1, 2021;
3. An increase in base wage rates of four percent (4%) of June 30, 2022 base wage rates, effective July 1, 2022;
4. An increase in base wage rates of four percent (4%) of June 30, 2023 base wage rates, effective July 1, 2023.
B. For employees hired after August 22, 2012, step increases from the bottom to the top of the salary ranges shall equal two and one-half percent (2.5%). The District may start a new hire at any step of the applicable range up to the fourth step. The District may hire an employee at a higher starting step if deemed appropriate by the District Manager. After a new hire’s completion of six months active employment and thereafter for each employee on the employee’s anniversary date of active employment thereafter, the District Manager may grant the employee a one-step increase until the employee’s rate is at the top of the applicable range. Eligibility for such increase shall be subject to a satisfactory or better performance rating by the employee’s non-unit supervisor or the District Manager. The employee’s anniversary date shall be delayed by the duration of any unpaid leave of absence granted under section 9.6 below or any period of layoff, in either case exceeding thirty (30) days.
C. Effective July 1, 2019 the District will implement the Alternative Staffing Program described in Appendix C that would supplement the step increase program described in Section 7.1.B and displayed in Appendix A and Appendix B. In addition, the District will meet and confer with the Union within sixty (60) days of the adoption of this MOU by the Board of Directors to develop an Alternative Staffing Program for those employees hired after July 1, 2012 in the following classifications (using the Maintenance Worker Alternate Staffing Program as the model): Source Control Inspector Field Supervisor Rehab Technician Pump Station Maintenance Mechanic Pipeline Inspection Technician

Base Wage Rates. The base wage is the minimum (bottom) rate of pay for a job classification, category, or title, exclusive of any and all additional pay. Base Wage Rates. (a) Current wage levels by classification will apply and form the base of this agreement.
Base Wage Rates. Base wage rates of covered classifications in effect on the day before this MOU takes effect will remain unchanged except as provided in this MOU. Base wage rates for all classifications effective July 1, 2022, January 1, 2023, January 1, 2024, and January 1, 2025, respectively, are listed in Appendix A.
Base Wage Rates. Regular full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid a monthly wage based on the applicable salary schedule. The salary schedule is found in Appendix "B".
A. For the purpose in this contract “regular rate” is defined as the hourly rate an employee is paid for hours worked during an FLSA workweek including all compensation in accordance with 29 CFR 778.109 (base rate of pay plus premiums). “Base rate” is defined as the initial hourly rate of compensation an employee receives during an FLSA workweek. The base rate is calculated by dividing the employee’s annual salary by 2080 for day shift employees, 2496 for operations employees, or as outlined in this Article.
Base Wage Rates. All full-time competitive Civil Service Patrolmen shall be compensated in accordance with the following schedule for the period June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2009, which reflects increases of 3.5% on June 1, 2007 and 3.5% on June 1, 2008. Base Wage Rates. A. Commencing September 1, 2017, each PSO, upon hire, shall be paid, at minimum, $15.50/hr. Commencing September 1, 2018, each PSO, upon hire, shall be paid at minimum, $16.00 per hour.
B. Commencing September 1, 2017, each PSOII, upon hire, shall be paid, at minimum, $17.00/hr. Commencing September 1, 2018, each PSO, upon hire, shall be paid, at minimum, $17.50 per hour.
C. All PSO’s whose rate is and remains above the base rate will not be adjusted pursuant to this provision.
D. On annual basis after September 1, 2018, the base wage rates listed above shall be positively indexed by a measure equal to the respective annual general wage increase listed in Article IX, Section 9.A.III.A, infra.
