Bidder Qualification. It is the policy of the County to encourage full and open competition among all available qualified vendors. All vendors regularly engaged in the type of work specified in the Solicitation are encouraged to submit a Bid. To be eligible for award of a contract (including small purchase orders), Bidder must become a registered Supplier/Vendor with Miami-Dade County. Only registered Suppliers/Vendors can be awarded County contracts. Suppliers are required to register using the County’s Online Supplier/Vendor Portal as described below in Section B “Supplier/Vendor Registration.” For additional information about online Supplier/Vendor registration, please contact the Vendor Outreach & Support Services (XXXX) Section at (000) 000-0000. In the event that the Supplier’s/Vendor’s online registration submittal is not approved, the County may in its sole discretion, award to the next lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.

Bidder Qualification a. The "Bidder" as used in the RFP shall mean the one who has signed the Bid Form. The Bidder may be either the Principal Officer or his duly Authorized Representative, in either cases he/she shall submit a Certificate of authority. All Certificates and documents (including any clarifications sought and any subsequent correspondences) received hereby, shall, as far as possible, be furnished and signed by the authorized representative and the Principal Officer.
Bidder Qualification. A. Before awarding a contract, the Owner reserves the right to require the apparent low bidder to qualify as a responsible bidder by furnishing such additional relevant information as necessary, which may include but is not limited to any of the following:

The terms "equipment and organization" as used herein shall be construed to mean a fully equipped and well established company in line with the best business practice in the industry and as determined by the City.

  • Driver Qualifications All drivers shall be trained and qualified in the operation of collection vehicles, and must have in effect a valid license, of the appropriate class, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Contractor shall use the Class II California Department of Motor Vehicles employer “Pull Notice Program” to monitor its drivers for safety.

  • Insurer Qualifications Without limiting any obligations or liabilities of Consultant, Consultant shall purchase and maintain, at its own expense, hereinafter stipulated minimum insurance with insurance companies authorized to do business in the State of Arizona pursuant to ARIZ. REV. STAT. § 20-206, as amended, with an AM Best, Inc. rating of A- or above with policies and forms satisfactory to the City. Failure to maintain insurance as specified herein may result in termination of this Agreement at the City’s option.

The Commission may prescribe alternative or additional qualifications for individual classes and such qualifications also shall be deemed to be a part of the specifications for such classes.
