Breakdowns. When a bus breakdown occurs on any route and if the driver is going to be at least one-half hour late on the next route, the Transportation Supervisor shall secure a sub driver to drive the next route. In such cases, both drivers shall be paid for the next route at their applicable wage rate. Special Note: This section applies only to regular daily routes and to late afternoon routes driven by District drivers/buses.
Breakdowns. 19.1 Any mechanical problems associated with the Vehicle must be reported to thl as soon as possible in order to give thl the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental period. Any faults, failures or breakdowns associated with the Vehicle or equipment must also be reported to thl.
19.2 If thl is not contacted or You do not allow thl the opportunity to rectify the problem during the rental period You agree that the problem is of such a minor nature that You make no claim for loss of time in respect of the rental period. You also agree that thl is not responsible for any claims made by You after the return of the Vehicle.
19.3 You will be charged a fee equal to the cost of the roadside assistance where it is established that roadside assistance could have been avoided in cases such as keys being locked in the Vehicle, flat batteries caused by lights having been left on and other such similar occurrences and Extended Roadside Assistance has not been purchased.
Breakdowns. 10.1 Malfunctions occurring in the equipment must be reported to the RBC service department immediately, yet no later than within 24 hours. In the event of a breakdown, the leased objects shall be repaired or replaced by RBC onsite, at the expense of the lessee, unless the malfunction is the result of normal wear and tear. No lease shall be charged for breakdowns lasting more than one day, provided the breakdown has been reported in time and is due to the normal wear and tear of the leased objects. Work to the leased objects can only be carried out by persons appointed by RBC, except for daily inspections in accordance with the instructions.
Breakdowns. When a layoff is due to an equipment break-down, shortage of utilities, fire, act of God, or for other reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Company, the required number of employees to be kept will be done on the basis of seniority within the Job Group. Exceptions to Clauses and may be agreed upon, in writing, by the parties to this Agreement.
Breakdowns. In the event the Vehicle is inoperable because of mechanical breakdown for a period longer than 48 consecutive hours and the breakdown does not result from any breach of this Agreement on the part of the Guest, CanaDream Inc. shall allow the Guest a credit equal to the rental charge reasonably attributable to the period during which the Vehicle is inoperable. CanaDream Inc. shall not be liable for any other costs or damages suffered by the Guest as a result of mechanical breakdown. Radio, air-conditioning, slide-out, refrigerator, microwave, appliances and cruise control malfunctions are not regarded for the purposes of this clause as rendering the Vehicle inoperable and do not entitle the Guest to a credit against rental charges.
Breakdowns. Should a breakdown or mechanical failure occur which the Driver cannot correct, the Driver should stay with the bus. Notify the bus garage or Dispatcher (via radio), or the Director, at (000) 000-0000 as soon as possible. Give as much information as possible to help get the bus back on route or to the bus garage. The Driver should:
a. Pull bus as far to the right hand side of the road as possible.
b. Activate hazard lights.
c. When safe to do so, place safety reflectors per CDL Manual standards.
d. If it is necessary to unload students, the Driver/Aide should direct them to:
i. Move safely away from the bus (at least 100').
ii. Stay in a group
Breakdowns. If a mechanical failure causes the interruption of the transportation of students, the driver shall be paid at the same hourly rate of pay, to be determined in fifteen
Breakdowns. For the duration of the Rental Period the Vehicle will have the benefit of our Breakdown Assistance Service. In order to benefit from the breakdown service you will need to call the number for Breakdown Assistance Service set out on the Rental Agreement. If the vehicle breaks down during the Rental Period we will, as soon as possible, recover and repair the Vehicle. If the Vehicle cannot be repaired we may provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability and circumstances. If the breakdown is caused by your negligence, fault or by that of an Approved Driver or arises as a result of a breach of the Rental Agreement you will be responsible for the full cost of the repair and recovery plus an administration fee for handling the claim and any other associated costs. Accidents In case of an accident or any incident relating to the Vehicle you must:
Breakdowns. In the twelve months prior to the date hereof the Group has not suffered and so far as the Seller is aware no other person has suffered any material failures or bugs in or breakdowns of any Information Technology used in connection with the business of the Group which have caused any substantial disruption or substantial interruption in or to its use.
Breakdowns. 4.1. The Client is responsible for ensuring that any vehicle to be driven between collection and delivery points and passed to the Service Provider conforms to all statutory legal requirements, has a current MOT (if applicable) and is in a safe condition to undertake the journey. Any vehicle which is in the opinion of the Service Provider to be unfit to drive will not be moved and an aborted journey will be charged for.
4.2. The Service Provider will not accept liability for any charges relating to mechanical breakdown or other failure rendering it unfit to drive, which may develop outside its control. All costs incurred by the Service Provider in respect of attending to breakdowns, recovering or relaying vehicles or carrying out repairs will be recharged to the Client at cost.
4.3. The Service Provider’s decision regarding breakdowns and vehicle roadworthiness will be final.
