Calculation of Salary. For the purpose of computing monthly salary the hourly rate shall be multiplied by one hundred seventy-four (174) hours for personnel on an eight (8) hour day; the hourly rate shall be multiplied by one hundred fifty two (152) hours for personnel on a seven (7) hour day (this being the average number of full-time hours worked per month).

Calculation of Salary. All calculations of salary will be based on annual salary rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding practice. (e.g. .001 to .499 round down, .500 to .999 round up). Monthly salary will be calculated by dividing the annual base salary by twelve (12) and rounded to the nearest cent as described above. Hourly rate will be calculated by dividing the annual base salary by 2080 hours rounded to the nearest cent as described above. Prorated pay will be calculated by multiplying the annual base salary by the employee’s full-time equivalence. All changes to salary will be calculated using the annual base salary.
Calculation of Salary a) Part-time teachers shall be paid a prorated salary appropriate to the teacher’s qualifications and experience, in compliance with the salary schedule. b) A full-time teacher’s salary will be calculated by adding to the appropriate grid salary all additional allowances provided for in the collective agreement. c) A part-time teacher will receive their salary as calculated in b) above multiplied by the fraction which represents the portion of the teaching year worked by that teacher.
