Campaign Leave Sample Clauses

Campaign Leave. Leaves to campaign for public office shall be for no less than the ensuing full semester nor no more than two (2) full semesters. If elected, the initial leave shall be for the length of the term of office for which elected. Leave beyond the first term of office may be extended annually at the discretion of the Board when notified of such request no later than March 1 of the expiration school year.

Campaign Leave. If nominated as a candidate for election at the Federal, Provincial, or Municipal level, or for election to an Indigenous government, leave of absence without pay shall be provided to take part in the election campaign. During the period of leave provided for the election campaign, the Employer will maintain, at the written request of a Regular Employee, all health and welfare and statutory benefits. The Employee shall reimburse the Employer for the cost of the benefits maintained.
Campaign Leave. Upon 60 days advance notice and the approval of the Xxxxxxx and Vice President of Academic Affairs, Association Members may be granted a leave of absence of one semester to campaign for political office.
