Chaired by the Director of Distance Education, membership includes faculty representatives from each college and school, Office of eLearning staff, and a student selected by Student Government. Faculty Development: Meets regularly to manage available faculty development funds. Responsibilities include establishment of guidelines, approval of requests for funding professional activities, and dissemination of information related to faculty development. Campus and Community. Old Dominion University is a state-assisted institution in Norfolk, Virginia, part of the metropolitan and historic Hampton Roads area with a population of 1.6 million people. Located about 200 miles south of Washington D.C., Old Dominion University is within minutes of the largest East Coast seaport, the oceanfront in Virginia Beach and the world’s largest Naval base. The University contributes approximately $600 million a year to the local economy. The main campus consists of 146 acres in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia located between the Lafayette and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇. The University is comprised of six colleges offering degrees in 64 Bachelors programs, 66 Masters program’s, and 22 Doctoral programs.   • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property. The Community Policies are available at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/policies.pdf or on request from the management office and are considered part of this Agreement.

  • Residence Community Living Standards The Residence Community Living Standards (“RCLS”) forms a part of this Agreement. It details the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of Residents as well as the residence conduct process. Each Resident is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to the terms outlined within the RCLS. The Manager and the Institution may amend the terms of the RCLS from time to time and may post the amendments in the Residence. Failure to abide by the RCLS may result in eviction from Residence and termination of this Agreement as per the violations and sanctions outlined in the RCLS, and as stated in section 8.01(d).   • Agreement Administration and Communications A. Under this Agreement, either of the representatives of the Judicial Council identified below will monitor the Work and act as the Judicial Council’s liaisons with the Contractor: i. The Judicial Council may reallocate funds between the estimated amounts set forth in Exhibit G, without an Amendment to this Agreement, as long as the total amount to be paid under this Agreement does not exceed the Contract Amount.   • Extended Health Care Plan ‌ The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable extended health care plan.

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12T, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12T. 10.14.2 The requirements of Chapter 12T shall only apply to a Contractor’s or Subcontractor’s operations to the extent those operations are in furtherance of the performance of this Agreement, shall apply only to applicants and employees who would be or are performing work in furtherance of this Agreement, and shall apply when the physical location of the employment or prospective employment of an individual is wholly or substantially within the City of San Francisco. Chapter 12T shall not apply when the application in a particular context would conflict with federal or state law or with a requirement of a government agency implementing federal or state law.
