EMPLOYEE EVALUATION 14.1 The purpose of employee evaluation is to support decisions concerning employee discipline, promotion and improvement. Evaluation shall be the responsibility of the immediate supervisor who shall not be a member of the bargaining unit.

Job Evaluation Plan It is agreed that there shall be a Job Evaluation Plan the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "B" which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement. It is understood that the Job Evaluation Plan shall not be subject to the grievance procedure as set forth in Article XXXI, Adjustment of Complaints. Disabled Employees If an employee becomes disabled with the result that he is unable to carry out the regular functions of his position, the Hospital may establish a special classification and salary with the hope of providing an opportunity of continued employment.
CLASSIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES Section 1. A full-time employee shall be deemed to be any employee regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours per week. A regular employee is one whose employment is reasonably expected to continue for longer than fifteen (15) months.

Displaced Employees In the event of a reduction in the work force, regular employees shall be laid-off in reverse order of seniority, provided that there are available employees with greater seniority who are qualified and willing to do the work of the employees laid-off. An employee who is qualified and yet unwilling to do the work shall be laid-off.
