Common Vacation Accrual Date. July 1 of each year shall be the common anniversary date shared by all unit employees who are eligible for vacation for purposed of vacation accrual. New employees hired on or after July 1, and before December 1, will have a vacation accrual date of July 1 of the fiscal year in which they were hired. New employees hired on or after December 1 will have a vacation accrual date of July 1 of the next fiscal year.

Common Vacation Accrual Date. July 1 of each year shall be the common anniversary date shared by all unit employees who are eligible for vacation for purposes of vacation accrual. New employees hired on or after July 1, and before December 1, will have a vacation accrual date of July 1 of the fiscal year in which they were hired, and will receive a pro- rated vacation allocation for their first year based upon their start date. Example: When an employee is hired on October 15, 2021, their vacation accrual date will be July 1, 2021. They will receive a prorated vacation allocation for their first year of employment based on their start date of October 15, 2021. Accordingly, on July 1, 2022, the employee will receive eight and one half (8.5) days. On July 1, 2023, the employee will receive eleven (11) days of vacation allocation. New employees hired on or after December 1 will have a vacation accrual date of July 1 of the next fiscal year, and will receive a pro-rated vacation allocation for their first year based on their start date. Example: When an employee is hired on December 1, 2021, their vacation accrual date will be July 1, 2022. They will receive a prorated vacation allocation for their first year of employment based on their start date of December 1, 2021. Accordingly, On July 1, 2022 they receive a prorated amount of vacation of six and one-half (6.5) days. On July 1, 2023, they will receive eleven (11) days.

  • Vacation Accrual Regular employees shall accrue hours of vacation with pay for each hour of compensation to a maximum of eighty (80) hours per biweekly work period according to the following schedule, commencing with the employee's hire date of his latest period of County employment.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month. Part- time employees will accrue sick leave credit on the same proportional basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours in a calendar month.
