COMPANY UNIFORMS. 19.01 a) The Company shall provide and pay for the rental costs of a clean coverall for each mechanic and serviceman for each work day and up to two (2) pairs of coveralls for bus washers each week. From the period November 1st to March 31st the coveralls shall be insulated.

COMPANY UNIFORMS. The Company will determine those employees who are required to wear a uniform. Such uniforms will be provided at no expense to the employee. Any employee provided a uniform at the expense of the Company, shall be required to wear such uniforms. Those employees who desire to wear uniforms, but are not required by the Company to do so, shall provide them at their own expense. The Company will allow the employees to pay for such uniforms through payroll deductions. The Company and the Union agree to establish a committee to review the need for additional protective clothing, footwear, or other equipment for certain working conditions.

(2) one pair of rubber covered cotton gloves for fuelling. Female Drivers shall receive the above articles in a style that is more suitable for them.
16.02 Upon termination of employment, the latest uniform shall be returned to the Company prior to the final pay being issued to the Driver, and if the uniform is not returned, the cost of replacement for same shall be deducted from the Driver’s final pay.
16.03 Drivers are required to wear a complete uniform (including tie) at all times while on duty with the exception from June 1 to September 30 when they have the option of wearing Company issued golf shirts or any other time when the outside temperature reaches twenty-seven (27)

Should the Company provide operators with a Company uniform; it will be maintained by the operator in a respectable condition, while representing the Company in a professional capacity. Company uniforms include on an annual basis; three (3) shirts, two (2) ties and two (2) pants, name tag, and every two (2) years a standard Company jacket or boots of equivalent value and will be worn and maintained as in accordance with Company policies.

COMPANY UNIFORMS. The Company shall supply uniforms to its employees in the painter and painter helper job classifications. In the event an employee in this classification terminates employment and fails to return leased uniforms, the Company shall have the right to deduct the employee’s final pay cheque any out-of-pocket costs the Company The Company shall supply up to two (2) pairs of coveralls per year to employees in the grinder classification to be maintained at the employee’s cost. The Company shall supply the appropriate personal protective equipment to all full time welders in order for the employees to work safely. This clothing will include welding jackets, sleeves or aprons as selected by the employee. The will remain the property of the Company and shall remain on the premises at all times. At the Company’s it shall have the right to have a welding jacket properly cleaned in order to distribute to another welder. The Company shall provide winter work wear to those employees who are required by the nature of their job to be exposed to the cold or inclement weather. Used outerwear in good condition that has been cleaned at the expense will be considered for re-issue.
COMPANY UNIFORMS. 22.1. The Employer will provide the Employee with a company uniform consisting of a shirt, a jacket and a vest.
22.2. The company uniform must be:
22.2.1. worn at all times during working hours;
22.2.2. kept in a clean and tidy condition.
22.3. All Employees carrying out work on site are required to wear appropriate protective footwear and clothing. When selecting footwear, attention is to be given to its suitability for the activity being undertaken.
COMPANY UNIFORMS. The Company will furnish uniforms for Meter Readers, Service Department, and Meter Department personnel. The uniforms will consist of jackets, trousers, and shirts. The employees will arrange for the laundering of these uniforms at their own expense. The employees will take reasonable care of the clothing furnished and they will be required to wear such clothing during all working hours. Officers of Local No. 340B340, B.U.WU.W.U.A.. not only endorse the program of personnel wearing uniforms but have offered to support this program by assisting the Company in seeing that the personnel involved wear said uniforms. In the event that one were not to wear the uniform for any reason, Local No. 340B340 officers requested that they be notified at which time they will immediately contact the individual involved and make every effort to see that the uniform will be worn with consistency. In the event the officers of Local No. 340B340 are unsuccessful in this initial assistance, the Company would then become involved and would resort to their normal disciplinary practices in cases of infraction of Company rules.
