Construction Waste Management. The CMR shall comply with all of the requirements of Section 01 74 19 “Construction Waste Management & Disposal – CMR”, Division 01 “General Requirements”, for the Project’s waste management goals, waste management plan and waste management plan implementation and required submittals.

A. Recycling construction waste is mandatory for initial space alterations for TIs and subsequent alterations under the Lease.
B. Recycling construction waste means providing all services necessary to furnish construction materials or wastes to organizations which will employ these materials or wastes in the production of new materials. Recycling includes required labor and equipment necessary to separate individual materials from the assemblies of which they form a part.

Construction Waste Management. 1. The General Contractor is responsible for creating and implementing a Construction Waste Management (CWM) Plan which diverts a minimum of 70% of the waste (by volume) generated by facility alterations and additions (including demolition and new construction activities) from disposal to landfills and incineration facilities.
a. Furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) are excluded from the calculation.
b. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing components are excluded from the calculation.

Tenant shall recycle and/or salvage non-hazardous construction and demolition materials by sending the project’s total commingled waste materials to a mixed-recovery processing facility that has: • Registered as a Qualified Processor with Austin Resource Recovery as defined in City of Austin Code Chapter 15-6, Article 9 - Construction and Demolition Materials Diversion Program, OR • Received Recycling Certification Institute’s Certification of Real Rates (CORR) or equivalent qualified third-party verification of facility-average recycling rates.
