Continuation work. For the purposes of overtime, continuation work shall be defined as work that begins before 2:00pm, on a given scheduled workday. Overtime shall be equally and impartially distributed among qualified personnel in each area where such personnel ordinarily perform such related work and duties in the normal course of their workweek. The Director of Public Works or his/her Designee shall keep and maintain a record of overtime worked by employees. The list of overtime worked shall be forwarded to the Union Chairperson every two (2) months beginning with the first full two (2) month period following the signing of the contract.

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

This legislation, as varied from time to time, will govern the superannuation rights and obligations of the parties.

  • Vacation During the Employment Period, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the most favorable plans, policies, programs and practices of the Company and its affiliated companies as in effect for the Executive at any time during the 120-day period immediately preceding the Effective Date or, if more favorable to the Executive, as in effect generally at any time thereafter with respect to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies.

  • Base Salary During the Employment Term, the Company shall pay Executive a base salary at the annual rate of $ , payable in regular installments in accordance with the Company’s usual payment practices. Executive shall be entitled to such increases in Executive’s base salary, if any, as may be determined from time to time in the sole discretion of the Board.   • Sick Leave The employee is eligible for long term disability benefits if provided for in the Collective Agreement. An employee will not receive pay for the first two (2) weeks of any period of absence due to a legitimate illness. The employee may utilize the paid holiday bank as income replacement for absences due to illness, as described in Article (c) above. An employee who is eligible may apply for Employment Insurance for weeks three (3) through seventeen (17) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. The Home will provide the employee with Disability Income Protection as per Article 14.01 (c) for weeks eighteen (18) through thirty (30) for any absence due to a legitimate illness. Employees may be required to provide medical proof of illness for any absence of a scheduled shift, which is neither vacation nor an approved leave of absence.

  • Benefits 17.01 The Employer agrees, during the term of the Collective Agreement, to contribute towards the premium coverage of participating eligible employees in the active employ of the Employer under the insurance plans set out below subject to their respective terms and conditions including any enrolment requirements:
