Correctional officers. If there is an agreement, merger, or consolidation between two or more local correctional or detention facilities, a correctional officer who becomes employed by a new entity created by the agreement, merger, or consolidation must receive credit for accumulated vacation and sick leave time earned by the correctional officer during the officer's employment with a governmental unit immediately preceding the creation of the new entity. If a correctional officer working pursuant to an agreement, merger, or consolidation becomes employed by the new entity, the correctional officer is considered to have begun employment with the new entity on the first day of employment with the governmental unit employing the correctional officer immediately preceding the creation of the new entity and must be credited with all previously accumulated vacation and sick leave time.
Correctional officers. Correctional officers will be furnished uniforms by the Employer. Should management decide to change the current uniform, a joint committee of management and Federation shall convene as the Uniform Committee. The committee shall make recommendations on the design and style of the uniform(s), number of pieces to be issued and replacement schedules. The final decision shall be made by the Warden or his/her designee. With the exception of search gloves initial issue uniform items will be replaced on an exchange basis as determined by management. Once every two years, each uniformed correctional officer shall be issued one pair of puncture, cut resistant search gloves.
Correctional officers. First Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Second Shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Third Shift: 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. First Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Second Shift: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All of the above daily work shifts include a paid thirty (30) minute lunch break scheduled as near to the middle of the shift as is practical. In the event it is necessary to change the above shift hours in the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department during the term of this Agree- ment, the parties agree to negotiate and utilize section 111.70(4)(cm)7 (dispute resolution), if necessary, on the shift hours, workweek, and assignment to shift. It is agreed that the starting and ending times above shall not be varied by greater than two (2) hours.
Correctional officers. The pay range for correctional officers shall be revised as follows: $27,485 $29,851 $30,778 $31,709 $32,657 The classification of correctional officer trainee shall be abolished.
Correctional officers where used herein, refers to employees who hold the titles of :
(a) correctional officer,
(b) correctional officer sergeant,
(c) correctional officer lieutenant, and
(d) correctional officer captain.
Correctional officers. HOURS OF WORK
4.1 The following will apply in lieu of clauses, 9.4.2 and 9.4.3 of “Part 9 – Special Conditions for Employees Employed as Correctional Officers” of the SAPSSEI Award.
4.2 The ordinary working hours of work for shift workers will be an average of 38 per week to be worked on one of the following bases:

Correctional officers. Correctional Officers shall work a non-rotating 6-3 schedule. The work shifts shall consist of six (6) days on followed by three (3) days off. The shift shall be eight (8) hours and eighteen (18) minutes as follows:

Correctional officers shall serve a probationary period of either twelve (12) months or until they receive a certification from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (“ILETSB”) stating they have met the Minimum Standard Basic Correction Officer Training Requirements, whichever is longer.
