CREATION OF A NEW JOB. 21.01 When a new job with duties and rate of pay which differs from existing jobs, is created within the Bargaining Unit, the Employer will promptly inform the Bargaining Agent. The job will be evaluated in accordance with the NPF Job Evaluation Program by the Job Evaluation Committee. The rate of pay for the job will be as per the applicable pay level in Annex A. Jobs shall be reviewed by the Job Evaluation Committee if the job changes significantly.

20.01 When the Board considers establishing a new job classification, the Bargaining Unit President shall be notified. It is understood that the Board is prepared to receive input from the Bargaining Unit. The rate of pay shall be subject to negotiation between the Board and the Bargaining Unit. If the Parties are unable to agree to the appropriate salary rate, the matter shall be resolved during collective bargaining.
