Definition of Shift a) All hours worked on any shift between 6:00 a.m. and 5:59 p.m. shall be considered a day shift.
b) All hours worked on any shift between 6:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. shall be considered a second shift.
c) All hours worked on any shift between 12:00 a.m. and 5:59 a.m. shall be considered a third shift.
Definition of Shift. (1) All hours worked on any shift, which starts between 4:30 a.m. and 1:59 p.m. inclusive, shall be considered a day shift.
(2) All hours worked on any shift, which starts between 2:00 p.m. and 8:59 p.m. shall be considered an afternoon shift.
(3) All hours worked on any shift, which starts between 9:00 p.m. and 4:29 a.m. shall be considered a night shift.
Definition of Shift. Upon initial employment, the District shall establish the hours of assignment and workweek. Employees who have an established work shift with four (4) or more hours after 5:00 p.m. are designated as swing shift employees. Employees who have an established work shift with four (4) or more hours after 12:00 a.m. midnight are designated as graveyard shift employees.
Definition of Shift. The word "shift" in this Agreement shall mean the regular working hours normally required to be worked by an employee in any one day.
Definition of Shift. A shift shall be defined as a period of time within a workday, and these periods of time shall be referred to as day shift, afternoon shift, night shift and may be rotating or nonrotating in nature.

15.03 Each employee working between 2300 hours on Friday and midnight Sunday shall receive a weekend shift bonus of one dollar and two cents ($1.02) cents per hour for all such hours worked. Increase to one dollar and five cents ($1.05) per hour on April 1, 2011, increase to one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour on April 1, 2012. Premiums shall be paid provided no other shift bonus is paid or applicable.
15.04 Each employee commencing a shift at any time between 1030 hours and 0559 hours of the following day on a Saturday or a Sunday shall receive a shift bonus of one dollar and twelve cents ($1.12) per hour for all such hours worked. Increase to one dollar and fourteen cents ($1.14) on April 1, 2011, increase to one dollar and seventeen cents ($1.17) per hour on April 1, 2012. Premiums shall be paid provided no other shift bonus is paid or applicable.
15.05 Each employee commencing a second shift within a period of less than ten (10) hours after completion of his/her previous shift shall receive overtime pay for those hours worked between the time of commencement and the agreed ten (10) hour turn around time.
15.06 Shifts shall be so scheduled so that no two shifts for the same employee shall run into each other consecutively. The Management may find it necessary to deviate from the above, but shall do so only in special or abnormal circumstances.
Definition of Shift. (a) First (1st) Shift - all hours worked between 6:00 am and 10:59 pm.
(b) Second (2nd) Shift - all hours worked between the hours of 11:00 pm and 5:59 am.
