Drugs, Alcohol and Smoking. The District maintains a drug and alcohol free workplace. Architect shall prohibit the use of drugs and alcohol on District premises at all times. The District also maintains all its properties as smoke free, tobacco free environments. Smoking and tobacco use (including electronic cigarettes, e-vapor, chewing tobacco and snuff) is not permitted on any District property; Architect shall require all its employees, agents and representatives and its Architects to refrain from smoking and tobacco use on District property. 8.01 No Architect employee, agent, representative, consultant and consultant’s employees, agents and representatives may use, possess, distribute, deliver, or be under the influence of a drug, or use or be under the influence of alcohol, while performing work on a public works project. An employee is considered to be under the influence of alcohol for purposes of this Act (820 ILCS 265) if the alcohol concentration in his or her blood or breath at the time alleged as shown by analysis of the employee's blood or breath is at or above 0.02. 8.02 Architect acknowledges and agrees that the provisions and requirements established by the Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act has been complied with and Architect has in place all requirements for testing of its employees suspected of or challenged to be tested by the District as provided under the Act (820 ILCS 265).

Drugs, Alcohol and Smoking. 53.1 An Employee must not enter the workplace or that of a client or undertake work of any kind whilst under the influence of alcohol or any other substance that impairs a person’s ability to work or is likely to create an unsafe working environment. 53.2 Where the Employer has a reasonable suspicion that an Employee is under the influence of alcohol or some other prescribed or non-prescribed drug, that Employee will be directed to leave the premises and/or cease work. In these circumstances the Employee will not be paid for the remainder of the day. An Employee sent home in accordance with this clause, must either report for work the next ordinary working day in an appropriate state of health and sobriety or contact the Employer to advise their manager of when they are likely to be able to return to work. 53.3 An Employee found to be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs at work (as described in Clause 53.1) may be subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment (as described in Clause 44) . 53.4 In the interest of the health and safety of all staff, all of our workplaces are smoke-free. Employees are prohibited from smoking, including e-cigarette use, on Kiama Community College Ltd or Shoalhaven River College premises, outside the Employer’s premises in a manner that can lead to the smoker being identified as Employees, or when representing the Employer in a work capacity.

  • Drugs and Alcohol The Pupil may be given the opportunity to provide a biological sample under medical supervision if involvement with drugs is suspected, or a sample of breath to test for alcohol consumed in breach of School rules or policy. A sample or test in these circumstances will not form part of the Pupil's permanent medical record.

  • Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace City reserves the right to deny access to, or require Contractor to remove from, City facilities personnel of any Contractor or subcontractor who City has reasonable grounds to believe has engaged in alcohol abuse or illegal drug activity which in any way impairs City's ability to maintain safe work facilities or to protect the health and well-being of City employees and the general public. City shall have the right of final approval for the entry or re-entry of any such person previously denied access to, or removed from, City facilities. Illegal drug activity means possessing, furnishing, selling, offering, purchasing, using or being under the influence of illegal drugs or other controlled substances for which the individual lacks a valid prescription.   • Alcohol and Drugs Service Provider agrees that the presence of alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the Work Site and while performing their Services. If the Service Provider or any of their agents, employees, or subcontractors are determined to be present or with alcohol or drugs in their possession, this Agreement shall terminate immediately.

  • Alcohol on the day of testing all workers onsite shall be required to submit a breath sample i.e. blanket testing.
