Duplicating Facilities. Copying machines in each school should be made available for the use of teachers in preparing instructional materials.
Duplicating Facilities. Duplicating machines and typewriters shall be made available to each school for the use of Employees in preparing instructional materials. Upon approval of the building principal, clerical personnel shall assist Employees in duplicating materials.

Appropriate devices and technology needed for duplicating instructional materials, including working copy machines or printers, shall be made available to each school for the use of Employees. Duplicating Facilities. The School District shall provide laptops, iPads and copying machines in good working order for Employees use in preparation of instructional materials in each building. In-class instructional materials will have priority over non-instructional materials with the understanding that in isolated circumstances administrative non-instructional materials may need to be copied. The School District agrees that copy facilities in each building will be available to the teaching staff during the normal school day in accordance with the secretarial work schedule per building. Employees shall make every attempt to have large quantities of copies submitted to support personnel designated by the Superintendent for the purpose of making copies at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date needed. The principal may, on a case-by-case basis, waive the forty- eight (48) hour requirement and permit copies to be made, but in no event with less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time needed. By way of example, the forty-eight (48) hour requirement may be waived where the copies requested contain critical information which must be communicated to the students and/or parents in a timely manner.
Duplicating Facilities. 1. The District will furnish and maintain in each school building appropriate equipment to allow employees the opportunity to produce educational materials. Such equipment shall be up-to-date with current technology and within the limits of the District budget.
2. These machines shall be accessible to all employees of those buildings.
3. Professional employees may have access to and use computer equipment owned by the School District for District educational purposes subject to the provisions of Article IV, Section D and the following conditions:
a. The use of the computer equipment may not interfere with the use of such equipment by students or the School District administration.
b. The professional employee must be appropriately trained and competent in the use of such equipment.
Duplicating Facilities. A. Duplicating facilities shall be made available to teachers in all buildings. Duplicating materials are to be limited to school activities. A typewriter, word processor, or its equivalent shall be made available for each thirty (30) classroom teachers. The location of equipment will be determined by the Principal and the UCC.
B. Each school shall have a functioning photocopier, provided by the District, in a location designated by the Principal and the UCC. Teachers will have independent use of the copier for student instructional purposes. The Principal and the UCC will develop written guidelines for the use of the copier.

These facilities and equipment will be made available on an equitable basis, and every effort will be made to ensure that teachers’ needs regarding the use of equipment and clerical staff time are met in a timely manner.
