Emergency Events. These assignments are not regularly scheduled, and by definition, are related to emergency events. Emergency Events. VDOC will use VRI at VDOC Correctional Facilities for medical emergencies, if an in-person Qualified Interpreter would have otherwise been the appropriate auxiliary aid or service for that inmate in that context. If remote interpreting services are not appropriate in the situation, VDOC personnel will work in conjunction with Medical staff to secure an in-person Qualified Interpreter or other auxiliary aids or services as soon as possible. Life-saving and other emergency medical care should never be delayed because qualified interpreter services are not available.
Emergency Events. 6.7.1 The Operator agrees that if during the Operating Period, any portion of the Terminal is rendered unsafe on account of any Emergency Event, the Operator will restrict the performance of its obligations, to such portion of the Terminal which is safe and not effected by the said contingency. The Operator will not be responsible for the maintenance of the Functional Guarantees for such portions of the Terminal, which have been affected by any Emergency Event, as long as the said Emergency Event has not occurred due to any act or omission of the Operator or its negligence or Wilful Misconduct, or any breach of the provisions of this Contract.
6.7.2 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, but subject to this Article 6.7, the Operator may take any operating action as it deems to be necessary in accordance with Good Industry Practices and being guided by the relevant provisions of the WBG EHS Guidelines in the case of an Emergency Event to mitigate the effects thereof or where the Operator considers immediate action to safeguard lives or property.
6.7.3 The Operator shall develop and implement, in line with Environmental Standards, an emergency preparedness and response plan to deal with emergency scenarios while clearly defining roles and responsibilities in case of any Emergency Event. Upon the occurrence of an Emergency Event, the Operator will forthwith notify the Authority of the same and the actions taken. Following such notification, the Parties will discuss without delay, the further actions which should be taken to mitigate the effects of the Emergency Event.
6.7.4 If the Authority considers that any Emergency Event has occurred, the Authority may give notice (which may be oral notice with subsequent written notice) to the Operator specifying the nature of the Emergency Event, which it has identified and the manner in which it requests such Emergency Event to be rectified. The Operator will take all actions to mitigate the effects of such Emergency Event with due diligence. If the Operator fails to comply with such notice promptly, the Authority will be entitled to procure by itself or through any Third Party, such actions, as may be necessary, to remedy such breach by the Operator.
6.7.5 The Operator shall make the necessary arrangements at the Terminal available, for meeting exigencies of the Emergency Events, as per the instructions of the Authority.

As with Use Case 2, during an Emergency Event, MCE will instruct the affected ESS to stop participating in daily peak load management (Use Case 1) and begin preparation for the Emergency Event. Only the timing differs between PSPS and Emergency Events. With Emergency Events, MCE will issue the pre-charge to occur as soon as possible and as quickly as possible to prepare for the event with little advanced notification, regardless of the time of use period, applicable electricity pricing or time of day. The ESS will operate per vendor configuration to provide backup services to the Site once the grid power is lost. MCE does not guarantee a set amount of discharge from the ESS, nor does it guarantee that the ESS will provide sufficient electricity to supply the Site’s load during the Emergency Event.
Emergency Events. In case of an emergency due to interference, failure of traffic light signal system, or other similar unforeseen events, LICENSOR may act to protect the public health and safety of its citizens, and to protect public and private property, notwithstanding any provision in this Agreement. In case of a network emergency, LICENSEE may access its Equipment without first obtaining any otherwise necessary permit(s) or authorization(s) provided LICENSEE has conducted network trouble-shooting and diagnostic tests and has reasonably identified the point or points of network failure or malfunction. LICENSEE shall conduct its activities within the Rights-of-Way in such a manner as to protect public and private property. Each Party will make every reasonable effort to coordinate its emergency response with the other Party.
Emergency Events. If at any time during the Concession Term an Emergency Event occurs then the Concessionaire shall immediately notify the Grantor of the occurrence of such Emergency Event and shall immediately implement any relevant procedures set out in the Emergency Response Plan. If the Concessionaire believes that the Emergency Response Plan is insufficient to deal with the particular circumstances of the Emergency Event it shall notify the Grantor immediately and the Parties shall meet to formulate a course of action to avert the effects of or alleviate the Emergency Event.
Emergency Events. In an emergency the Council may:
5.17.1 enter the Property at any time without giving notice to the Tenant;
5.17.2 close the Property for such period as the Council reasonably considers necessary; and
5.17.3 prevent the Tenant from entering the Property, or require the Tenant to leave and stay out of the Property.
Emergency Events. 10.1. If an Emergency Event occurs the Council shall be entitled:-
10.1.1. to occupy all or any part of the Properties and use the equipment therein; and/or
10.1.2. to issue instructions (’Council Instructions") to the Trust in respect of any of the Properties, in order to discharge the Council’s statutory obligation to prevent, eliminate, mitigate or accommodate the effects of the Emergency Event. The provisions of Part E of the Schedule shall apply in relation to such occupancy.
Emergency Events. In case of an emergency (including a significant process safety event such as fire, explosion, Natural Gas release, LNG release, or sabotage; incident involving loss of life, serious injury to any employee, subcontractor, or third party, or serious property damage; strikes and riots; or evacuations of Lessee's personnel or Personnel) or in anticipation of an emergency situation occurring in the near-term, the Lessee shall have the right to take all necessary and proper measures for the protection of life, health, the environment and property in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 8 (HSSE Requirements) and the Operations Manual, and this Agreement shall continue in accordance with its terms.
