EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. 5:1 District Liaison Committee 5:1.1 The Association President and an individual or individuals of his/her choice will meet with the Superintendent and an individual or individuals of his/her choice on a monthly basis in order to discuss the administration of this Agreement and other concerns which affect employees. A District Liaison is not a forum to discuss building issues not previously discussed at that building's liaison.
5:2 Building Liaison Committee 5:2.1 Association representatives will meet normally on a monthly basis with the building principal to review and to discuss school problems and practices, including the building budget. The Association representatives and the Administration will exchange agendas at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the normal monthly meeting.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. In the interest of informal problem solving, there shall be Superintendent and building liaison meetings.
B. Beginning in September of every school year, and every other month thereafter, the Superintendent shall meet with a representative council of the Association. The Association’s council shall consist of an individual from each school building and a transportation employee who are appointed by the Association. These meetings shall be held in the Superintendent’s Office. Agenda items, which may be generated by either party, shall be submitted 48 hours in advance of meeting. The Association will submit to the Superintendent items to be included on the agenda. The Superintendent may bring up additional items at the meeting.
C. Beginning in September of every school year and every month thereafter, there shall be a building liaison committee meeting. The purpose of the Building Liaison Committee is to review and discuss building problems and practices of concern to the staff and / or the administration. This committee is responsible for submitting appropriate agenda items to the building principal no fewer than three (3) days prior to the scheduled monthly meeting date. If no agenda items are received three (3) days prior to the meeting, the meeting shall be canceled. If an issue cannot be successfully resolved, the matter will be presented at the next Superintendent’s liaison meeting.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. 5:1 FACULTY LIAISON 5:1.1 The establishment and make-up of the Faculty Liaison is the responsibility of the Association.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. The Association’s representatives may meet the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee at least once every calendar quarter during the year to review and discuss current problems and practices of mutual interest and the administration of this Agreement.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A liaison committee for each school building, selected exclusively by the staff of that building, shall meet with the principal at least once a month after school for the duration of the school year to review and discuss local problems and practices, and to play an active role in the revision and development of building policies. If the building administration and the liaison committee agree that a non-certified employee's presence is desirable and/or necessary then that employee will be invited to the meeting.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. A district advisory council shall meet with the superintendent upon request from either party to review and discuss operating policies. The REA and the superintendent will decide mutually upon the process of selection for this council.
B. A liaison committee in each school building shall meet with the principal upon request from either party to review and discuss building operating policies. The liaison committee shall consist of:
1. Association building representatives plus one (1) member for every twenty (20) employees or fraction thereof for each of the elementary schools and the middle school.
2. The Association building representatives plus one (1) member for every thirty (30) employees or fraction thereof for the high school
C. The Board and the REA shall establish a Board-Association Liaison Committee which shall meet periodically during the term of the new Agreement. The Liaison Committee shall not address matters that are subject for collective negotiations.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. On request of either the Superintendent or the Association representative, a meeting shall be held at least once every calendar quarter during the year to review and discuss current problems and practices and the administration of this Agreement.
B. Neither the Association's representative nor the Superintendent shall have the power to negotiate terms or conditions of employment or to modify the terms of this Agreement as part of such review and discussion.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. The Association shall be represented by a Liaison Committee which shall meet with the Principal and/or the Superintendent at least once a month during the school day for the duration of the school year to review and discuss local school programs and practices and to play an active role in the revision or development of building practices.
EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. A. Building Liaison Committee The senior faculty representative in each building shall conduct an election for the purpose of electing a liaison committee. The purpose of the Building Liaison Committee is to review and discuss building problems and practices of concern to the staff and/or Administration. This committee is responsible for submitting appropriate agenda items to the building principal no fewer than five (5) days prior to the scheduled monthly meeting date. If no agenda items are received five (5) days prior to the meeting, the meeting shall be cancelled. Said committees shall be constituted as follows: Elementary/Middle Schools One representative from each team/grade level One representative from special education One representative from cycles/specials One representative from secretaries One representative from paraprofessionals High School One representative for each 10 faculty members, not to exceed a total of 10 representatives Secretaries and paraprofessionals may be a member of building liaison committee. At the high school level, secretaries and paraprofessionals shall have one (1) representative.
B. School System Liaison Committee Each building liaison committee shall elect a representative and alternate from its committee to serve on the school system liaison committee which will meet once a month with an administrative group selected by the Superintendent. The purpose of this committee is to review and discuss district problems and practices of concern to the staff and/or Administration. Building representatives shall submit appropriate agenda items to the superintendent’s office no fewer than five (5) days prior to the scheduled meeting date. If no agenda items are received five (5) days prior to the meeting, the meeting shall be cancelled.
C. Secretarial Liaison Committee The secretaries shall elect representatives for a liaison committee. Said committee shall be constituted as follows:
(1) representative each from Elementary Schools, Middle School, Special Education and Transportation, Board Office and Curriculum, Cafeteria, Maintenance and Data Processing. EMPLOYEE-ADMINISTRATION LIAISON. At the request of the Association, the Association's representatives shall meet with the Superintendent at least once every calendar quarter during the year to review and discuss current problems and practices of mutual interest and the administration of this Agreement. Such meetings shall be held on written request of the Association or on written request of the Administration and it shall not be deemed a waiver of this provision or violation of this contract if no meeting is requested or held.
