Entitlement to reasonable communication. (i) A workplace delegate may communicate with eligible employees for the purpose of representing the industrial interests of the employees under clause 1(e). This includes discussing membership of the delegate’s organisation with the employees and consulting the delegate’s organisation in relation to matters in which the workplace delegate is representing employees. (ii) A workplace delegate may communicate with eligible employees individually or collectively, during working hours or work breaks, or before the start or after the end of work.
Entitlement to reasonable communication. A workplace delegate may communicate with eligible employees for the purpose of representing their industrial interests under clause 17.5. This includes discussing membership of the delegate’s organisation and representation with eligible employees.

Communications for this purpose includes, but is not limited to: (i) discussing membership of the union with employees, including by addressing induction meetings; (ii) consulting the union in relation to matters in which the workplace delegate is representing employees; (iii) posting written material authorised by the Union in a place within the workplace to which employees have convenient access and/or distributing that material by appropriate means to employees. (b) A union delegate may communicate with employees individually or collectively, including at meetings, during working hours or work breaks, or before the start or after the end of work. (c) Scope must not survey, monitor, record or otherwise infringe the privacy of communications between union delegates, employees and their Union.

The Employer will allow AWU delegates to communicate with AWU members and those eligible to be AWU members for the purpose of representing their industrial interests under clause 3.4. This includes discussing AWU membership and representation. 3.3.2. AWU delegates are entitled to communicate with AWU members and those who are eligible to be AWU members during work hours or work breaks, or before or after work. 3.3.3. AWU delegates are entitled to meet with members and those eligible to be AWU members on an as needs basis.

The Employer will provide access to use of the following workplace facilities unless the Employer does not have them: (a) Private meeting rooms; (b) Noticeboard; and (c) Office facilities and equipment including printer, scanners, photocopiers and wi-fi.
