Evaluation Purpose. The purpose of the evaluation process is to provide feedback and commentary on employee job performance as a means for improvement and attainment of employment goals.

(California DOE, 2012), and The Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument (Xxxxxxxxx, 2011).

Evaluation Purpose. The employee performance evaluation is a process that is part of the employee/supervisor relationship that focuses on: the work that should be done, the work that actually is done over a specific time period, and how efficiently and effectively the work is done. The performance evaluation represents an opportunity for the supervisor and the employee to openly discuss accomplishments, strengths, and areas for improvement.
