Extra Trip Pay. Drivers who have an assigned extra trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, will at the conclusion of the trip, leave their completed trip sheet and bus keys at the designated location in the bus garage in order to be paid on the next scheduled pay period.

Extra Trip Pay. Drivers will be paid a straight hourly rate for extra trips at his or her regular scale. Field trips under one (1) hour in duration will be paid a minimum of one (1) hour. Field trips in excess of eight (8) hours in duration will be paid at the following rate: the first eight (8) hours paid straight time. Hours worked over eight (8) at time and one-half (1-1/2) the hourly rate. Saturday winter trips (volleyball, wrestling, swimming) will be paid at ten dollars ($10.00) per hour for downtime.
Extra Trip Pay. On trips drivers shall be paid their regular hourly rates for all actual driving time. All other time drivers spend on trips shall be referred to as “down time”. Drivers shall be paid for all down time at the rate of $15 per hour. No trip will be paid less than two hours’ drive time.

Extra Trip Pay. Extra Trip pay shall be compensated at the regularly hourly rate as per the attached pay schedule. All drivers will be granted an additional fifteen (15) minutes for pre- trip and fifteen (15) minutes post-trip. For trips occurring on non- work days or weekends, thirty (30) minutes for pre-trip and thirty (30) minutes post-trip will be granted. Extra trips on Sundays shall receive a premium of one dollar twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour. All extra trips shall be recorded by trip sheet. All hours over forty (40) hours actually worked during a given work week shall be at a weighted overtime rate according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Extra Trip Pay. Pay for trips, other than regular daily runs, shall be at a rate established on Schedule A, with two (2) hours minimum pay. Drivers will receive an $11.00 reporting bonus for Extra Trips that have been scheduled on days when students are not scheduled for attendance. Drivers will be reimbursed up to $7.00 for meals on Extra Trips involving six (6) or more hours of continual service (with afternoon route times to be part of this time if a trip departs within 45 minutes of the end of the regular route), and up to an additional $7.00 involving eleven (11) or more hours of continuous service. The driver must submit paid and itemized meal receipts. On any overnight trip, drivers will be assigned their own room(s). All non-wheelchair (non-lift bus) Special Education Extra Trips that originate from Xxxxxxxxxxx Public Schools shall be paid at the regular Extra Trip Driving rate, as well as taking busses for service. Any trips to deliver or pick-up a bus for repair or service, will be assigned on a rotating basis from the Full Time Driver Daytime Sub List of 5 Drivers, and paid at the current contractual rate for Extra Trips.

  • Extra Trips All trips other than regular runs or supplemental runs shall be awarded to drivers according to the following procedures: 9.7.1 All extra trips shall be assigned in compliance with the following section of this Agreement; provided, however, that no driver shall be eligible to work more than forty (40) hours in any workweek, exclusive of hours worked on Saturday or Sunday, when another eligible driver is available and would not be put into overtime. 9.7.2 Assignment of extra trips shall be made on the basis of a “Trip Board.” The most senior driver who signs up for the extra trip shall be awarded the trip. No driver may give up any extra trip or supplemental run or regular run previously awarded in order to take an extra trip, if Section 9.7.1 above would be violated. There shall be no pre-empting of regular runs by drivers who wish to take extra trips. 9.7.3 Trips are to be dated as they are received by the Transportation Office. All extra trips shall be awarded to the most senior appropriate driver signing the “Trip Board.” If the extra trip is posted before a driver’s regular run clock-out time, the driver has until the driver’s next regular run clock-in time to reply. If there is no reply, the dispatcher shall assign the extra trip to the next senior driver on the sign-up sheet. 9.7.4 Drivers shall not be eligible for extra trips during periods of absence due to illness. Drivers absent for personal illness on the last working day before a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday trip shall not be eligible to drive such trip and will lose his/her turn on the list until the process begins anew. Drivers absent for other reasons will be able to drive such trips provided they contact the Transportation Office by 3:30 p.m. on the last working day prior to the scheduled trip to verify their availability and confirm the start time of the trip. 9.7.5 The dispatch book shall be made available for driver viewing by the Transportation Office.
