Fair Labor Standards Act Provisions. The Fair Labor Standards Act, as amended, may govern certain terms and conditions of the employment of employees covered by this MOU. It is anticipated that compliance with the Act may require changes in some of the County policies and practices currently in effect or agreed upon. If it is determined by the County that certain working conditions, including but not limited to work schedules, hours of work, method of computing overtime, overtime pay, and compensatory time off entitlements or use, must be changed to conform with the Fair Labor Standards Act, such terms and conditions of employment shall not be controlled by this MOU but shall be subject to modification by the County to conform to the Federal Law without further meeting and conferring. The County shall notify the Union (employee organizations) and will meet and confer with said organization regarding the implementation of such modifications.
