General Facilities. The Provider must ensure that any facilities used for the Services meet the latest in terms of: Cancer Network QA regulations Disability Discrimination Act health and safety infection control general patient environment guidelines Any proposed premises will require a formal assessment and sign-off by the Commissioner. In addition, the provider must comply with: Care Quality Commission Standards the revised hygiene code, The Health and Social Care Act 2008, Code of Practice for the NHS on the prevention and control of healthcare associate infections and related guidance the medical devices directives (Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency All premises are subject to the assessment and approval by the Commissioner. The Provider may provide the Service from other premises, subject to the assessment and approval by the Commissioner. The Provider must complete the checklist for accommodation for each site/room to be used
4.7 Equipment The Provider must provide the diagnostic and surgical equipment for use in Provider premises. The Provider must provide details of the equipment to be used, whether in their own premises or in Commissioner -provided premises, and its conformity to standards. The Provider must propose plans and procedures for maintenance and sterilisation of diagnostic and surgical equipment. The Provider must not move diagnostic and surgical from site to site. Equipment will be subject to assessment by the Commissioner. Appropriate arrangements must be made for the regular maintenance and safety checks of equipment, according to the manufacturer’s schedule. Adequate and appropriate equipment must be available for the clinician to undertake the procedures chosen, and must also include appropriate equipment for resuscitation.
4.8 Patient safety The service must fulfil all safeguarding requirements and adhere to the relevant Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. General Facilities a) Line Gantry/Towers are envisaged for bays under present scope only. However, for adjacent future line bay, tower shall be designed for extension (considering Quad conductors for 400kV future lines and Twin conductor for 220 kV future lines) wherever applicable.
b) Bay extension works at existing substation shall be executed by TSP in accordance with the requirement/provisions mentioned above. However, interface points shall be considered keeping in view the existing design/arrangement at the substation.
c) TSP has to arrange for construction power and water on its own.
d) All outdoor steel structures including anchor/foundation bolts shall be fully galvanized. The weight of the zinc coating shall be at least 610 gm/sq.m. however, for coastal/creek regions it shall be at least 900 gm/sq.m.
e) In 400kV switchyard, if spare bay of half diameter is identified as future, all the equipment for Tie & Future bay shall be designed considering the current rating of line bay i.e. 3150A.

Structures, improvements and facilities of the Eldorado Substation which include: dikes, roadways, control house, communications building, ancillary buildings, trenches, conduits, control and power cables, control equipment, station communication equipment, batteries, auxiliary equipment, station grounding grid, fencing, lighting and yard improvements and any other facilities that provide support for the Eldorado Substation and do not include the 220kV Switchyard, 500kV switchyard, 500/220 kV transformer banks, and all appurtenant facilities thereto. General Facilities shall not include: (i) the real property on which the Eldorado Substation is located; (ii) any termination facilities associated with any line or transformer termination at the Eldorado Substation; (iii) any termination facilities associated with a Third Party interconnection; or (iv) any 500/220 kV transformer banks located at the Eldorado Substation.

5.1 The council will provide the Branch Secretary/Union Officer with a relevant list of new employees and leavers once per month.

5.3 Branch Officials/Stewards/Representatives may use the Council’s internal mailing system for despatch of internal mail. In doing so, the Council’s deadlines must be conformed to in accordance with timescales laid down. The despatch of all external mail is the responsibilityof the Trade Union.
5.4 The Council may provide suitable lockable office accommodation with space for office furniture and provision of a telephone. Alsosuitable accommodation within the administrative centres may be provided for meetings free of charge, where practicable and where available.
5.5 Branch Officials/Stewards/Representatives may have the use of designated notice boards and the use of the internal telephone system and lotus notes for Union matters. Where a cost is involved in the use of the telephone, i.e. between Council establishments, then calls must be authorised and logged. All calls outside Denbighshire County Council and those to Union headquarters must be paid for through the call loggingsystem.
5.6 Branch Officials/Stewards/Representatives may use the Council printing facilities and will be charged the full economic rate for such facilities. Photocopying must be logged and paid for at the appropriate rate.
5.7 The Branch Secretary will provide the Council with a list of all Branch Officials/Stewards/Representatives and the areas that they are responsible for.
