Guarantee of Hours. 39.01 In department where there is no Full-Time employee, the most senior available employee shall receive a scheduling guarantee of twenty-five (25) hours, provided there are a minimum of five (5) employees in the department.
Guarantee of Hours. The following items (a) and (b) shall apply only to the Front-End Department of all stores.
Guarantee of Hours. For each day the employee reports to work and performs feeder work, this employee shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours. This provision is subject to change in accordance with paragraph (a) above.

The Company agrees therefore that the hours posted in accordance with 4.04 are guaranteed unless an employee voluntarily absents himself/herself for the shift or any part thereof or unless the Company is forced to shut down his operations, or any part thereof, because of an Act of God (ie. fire, flood or other natural disaster, etc.).
Guarantee of Hours. The foregoing provisions of this Section shall not be construed as guaranteeing to any Employee any number of hours of work per day or per week. The Management will from time to time furnish to the Grievance Committee such information as such Committee shall reasonably request with regard to the compliance by the Management with the provisions of this Section. 07.01.03
Guarantee of Hours. All routes during the School Term + 5 Calendar will be structured to provide a four (4) hour guarantee of work or pay to 60% of Drivers and 100% of Bus Attendants and a five (5) hour guarantee for 40% of Drivers.
Guarantee of Hours. For the purpose of calculating the guarantee of hours in the Front End, it is agreed that there are two (2) departments:
Guarantee of Hours a. There shall be a weekly guarantee of forty (40) hours for each full time employee.
b. When an employee reports to work as scheduled, the employee will be paid the number of hours for that scheduled day. For the purposes of proper compensation under this Article and other Articles of this Agreement, it is understood and agreed that no employee’s scheduled start time will be advanced or delayed by the Company to eliminate the employee’s opportunity for pre- mium pay, unless such request or notice for relief is made by the employee in accordance with Article 13, Section 9. Paid time off for funeral leave will be considered a day worked for the pur- pose of this Article.
c. The guarantee shall not apply:
1. to a full time employee who fails to work a scheduled work day during the work week (exclusive of any Company paid day off in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement) or is suspended or discharged for just cause;
2. when there are conditions beyond the Employer’s control such as fire, flood, destruction, strikes, war, or Acts of God, and these conditions cause a curtailment of all or part of the Employer’s operation and the employee is notified prior to the scheduled start time at the respective gateway (In such event, the Company will make every reasonable effort to con- tact the employee prior to his reporting to work.); and the employee fails to make up the work missed as a result of the force majeure event within ninety (90) days of resumption of operations at the affected gateway; (For details see addendum on Article 11.3.c.
3. when an employee reports to work after his scheduled start time or leaves work prior to the end of his scheduled work day. Employees working thirteen (13) hour shifts will be reduced only the actual time resulting from late reports or early departures;
4. to probationary employees with less than ninety (90) days. However, the Company will not use probationary employees in the short term for the purpose of eliminating overtime for seniority employees.
