Hazard Pay Differential. A unit member will receive a hazard pay differential assignment to a position designated by Human Resources and Risk Management as a hazard pay position. A hazard pay position is one of which: (1) exposes the unit member to a specific and significant hazard, (2) is clearly dangerous to the health or well-being of any unit member so assigned, or (3) the hazard is abnormal of the basic occupation of job class. Such differential will amount to 10% above the unit member’s regular salary.

The employer will not terminate authorized hazard pay differential without notification to the union and a reasonable time to discuss in conference with the goal of adjusting differences. c. If the union or an employee identifies a situation where employees are exposed to hazardous conditions or physically hardship and are not receiving hazard pay differential, the employer will be promptly notified. The parties will meet to discuss the situation and, if appropriate, submit the hazard to the Classification Section in the Civilian Personnel Flight for review and inclusion in the position description.
Hazard Pay Differential. SECTION 26.01 Employees are entitled to a pay differential for hours of duty involving unusual physical hardship or hazard as provided in Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and Agency regulations in accordance with the schedule published in Appendix A of Part 550, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). However, hazard pay differential may not be paid an employee when (1) the hazardous duty has been taken into account in the classification of his/her position; or (2) when adequate safeguards, safety precautions, protective devices or procedures exist so that the degree of risk has been reduced to a negligible level. In accordance with the Factor Evaluation System, an employee's position description shall reflect any hazardous duty which was considered in the classification of the position. Exceptions to the above may be made in the following situation: (1) the actual circumstances of the specific hazard or physical hardship have changed from that taken into account and described in the position description, and (2) using the knowledge, skills, and abilities that are described in the position description, the employee cannot control the hazard or physical hardship, thus, the risk is not reduced to a less than significant level. SECTION 26.02 If the employee disagrees with the determination of Section 26.01 above, and where pay differential is the issue, the employee may follow the grievance and arbitration procedures outlined in Article 16 and 17

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours.   • Price Differential a. On each Business Day that a Transaction is outstanding, the Pricing Rate shall be reset and, unless otherwise agreed, the accrued and unpaid Price Differential shall be settled in cash on each related Price Differential Payment Date. Two (2) Business Days prior to the Price Differential Payment Date, Buyer shall give Seller written or electronic notice of the amount of the Price Differential due on such Price Differential Payment Date. Seller may remit to Buyer funds in an amount up to the outstanding Purchase Price of the Purchased Mortgage Loans, to be held as unsegregated cash margin and collateral for all Obligations under this Agreement (such amount, to the extent not applied to Obligations under this Agreement, the “Buydown Amount”). The Buydown Amount shall be used by Buyer in order to calculate the aggregate Price Differential, which will accrue on the aggregate Purchase Price then outstanding minus the Buydown Amount, applied to Transactions involving the lowest Pricing Rate. The Seller shall be entitled to request a drawdown of the Buydown Amount or remit additional funds to be added to the Buydown Amount no more than one time per week. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in the event that a Margin Call or other Default exists, the Buyer shall be entitled to use any or all of the Buydown Amount to cure such circumstance or otherwise exercise remedies available to the Buyer without prior notice to, or consent from, the Seller. Within two (2) Business Days’ receipt of written request from Seller, and provided no Margin Call or other Default exists, Buyer shall remit any portion of such Buydown Amount back to Seller.

  • Differential Pay Section 1( A). Geographic Area Pay. Classifications C4115, C4116, C4207, C4209, C4211, C4213, C4215, C4221, C4223, C4225: Prevailing basic rates in specific geographical areas for employment of limited duration less than one hundred twenty (120) days will be approved. Employees paid at such rates will not be eligible for vacation, sick leave or holiday benefits. Such rates will be paid only for construction work.
