Health and Disability Insurance. You (and any eligible dependents you elect) will be covered by the Company’s group health insurance programs on the same terms and conditions applicable to comparable employees. You will also be covered by the long-term disability plan for senior executives on the same terms and conditions applicable to comparable employees. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or eliminate such coverages in its discretion.

Health and Disability Insurance. Employee shall be entitled to participate in health and disability insurance plans that the Company offers to other employees of the Company from time to time, on the same basis as is applicable to other similarly situated executive employees, consistent with past practice.
Health and Disability Insurance. The Company shall provide Employee and his family with health, medical, hospitalization and dental insurance coverage and/or cost reimbursement benefits which provide for 100% of such costs and expenses to be paid on behalf of and/or reimbursed to Employee and his family, whether through existing insurance and/or reimbursement plans covering the Company's employees or through special plans relating specifically to Employee, or a combination thereof. For purposes of this Section 11, the Employee's family shall include his spouse and children. The Company shall also provide disability insurance coverage to Employee under any Company plan(s) for such coverage as in effect from time to time for that category or class of the Company's employees which includes the Company's senior executive officers, provided that if necessary to provide Employee with monthly disability income benefits of at least fifty percent (50%) of Employee's Basic Salary in the event of Employee's permanent disability, the Company shall adopt a special plan relating specifically to Employee which results in Employee having coverage providing total disability income benefits of at least 50% of Employee's Basic Salary.

Annually 1/3 (approx. 41 sworn members) of the Department will undergo a comprehensive physical examination, including a cancer screening by a physician. It is intended that each sworn member of the Department will receive a comprehensive physical and cancer screening once every three years. The physical and cancer screening shall be at no cost to sworn employees and scheduled during normal work hours. Physical examinations may include physical examination, blood tests, urine test, ECG, chest x-ray, mammography, immunization/infectious disease screening, and cancer screening as clinically necessary. The Department will coordinate physical examinations with a local provider. To be eligible for this benefit, sworn employees must visit the Department approved clinic. Additionally, the Chief of Police will be able to fill any vacant screenings with Reserve Officers or other Sworn Personnel. Any referrals or follow-up testing will be coordinated with the sworn member's primary care physician, specialist, or testing facility using the sworn member's health benefits. The City currently offers longevity pay to those employees hired prior to January 1, 2009, through its Longevity Pay program. This program shall remain unchanged during the term of this agreement.
