HELPER SERVICE a) Engineers assigned to helper service shall be called first-in and first-out for initial service on each 8-hour helper day. b) Assigned helper Engineer, who is available and ready for service the entire month, shall be guaranteed 3300 miles per month. c) If an assigned man lays off of his own accord or is relieved during the month he shall receive what he earned but not less than his proportion of the monthly guarantee for the number of days worked or held. d) Extra Engineer relieving a regular man shall be paid not less than his proportion of the monthly guarantee for the number of days worked or held, except that in the operation of rules regulating mileage, the guarantee shall not apply to the relieving man or men. e) In case traffic is interrupted to the extent of 48 hours or more at one time in any calendar month from any cause over which the Company has no control, the guarantee will not apply during the period of such interruption. f) When crews are released and called on duty again before the expiration of 8 hours, their time will be computed as continuous. If called on duty after 100 miles have been ran or after expiration of 8 hours from starting time of initial trip, a new day will begin. g) Terminal time will not be paid to assigned helpers except when 100 miles or more are made. h) Road Engineers will not be required to do helping service except in emergencies, in which case they will be paid in accordance with Rule 71.

HELPER SERVICE. Section 1. Rates of pay for engineers in assigned helper service shall be as set forth in Appendix "A". Section 2. Engineers will be regularly assigned to helper service at points where helpers are habitually used. Section 3. One hundred (100) miles or less, eight (8) hours or less, at the rate according to class of engine used, to constitute a day. Section 4. Engineers assigned to helper service will be allowed the minimum of one hundred (100) miles at rate applicable to the engine used on the run or to the engine upon which they perform their last service, for each day assigned to this service on which trip is not begun. Section 5. Helpers will be assigned to specified districts, and the point at which the helper is regularly tied up will be designated as the home terminal. When helper service extends over an entire district, rules and rate for class of engine and service shall apply. Engineer helping passenger trains will be paid as provided for in this Article. Section 6. Where engineer not assigned to helper service is used to push or help any train, payment will be in accordance with rules and rates of freight service.
HELPER SERVICE. Engineers in helper service under this schedule are those handling engines which help passenger and freight trains on heavy grades where such helper service is regularly employed. Engines double-heading or helping trains in emergencies will not be considered helpers. As an example, Engineer "A" protects the assignment 12 days and earns 1400 miles. Engineer "B" Protects the assignment 18 days and earns 1600 miles. Guarantee of 200 miles on the assignment is payable to Engineer "B", none to Engineer "A", because he earned in excess of the pro-rated guarantee equivalent. 4. It is understood that when the combined total mileage paid to all regularly assigned engineers on the same assignment (or assigned turn, when there are two or more engineers assigned on a first-in, first-out basis) equals or exceeds 3200 miles on each turn, no guarantee is payable. 5.   • Our Service The services that you have selected and the charges for those services are confirmed in Section 9 - Your Consent at the end of this agreement. We agree to provide the services selected and you agree to pay us for those services. Any advice or recommendation that we offer to you, will only be given after we have assessed your needs and considered your financial objectives and attitude to any risks that may be involved. We will also take into account any restrictions that you wish to place on the type of products you would be willing to consider.

Consumable Products: Paper products, laundry/dish detergent, personal toiletry items and food staples are not included in the Properties. Linens: Linens are included with all Properties for reservations up to 2 days or more. If linens and towels are damaged or missing there will be an added fee to replace and/or clean those items. Linens and towels should only be used for sleeping in and drying off. Damaged or missing bath towels are $25, hand towels are $15, wash cloths are $10, sheets are $30, pillow cases are $15, and bath mats are $20. Damaged items might include makeup, blood stains, excessive dirt, tanning lotion, and human waste.

  • Mail Service 1. The Union shall be authorized to use the Agency’s internal mail distribution system, and the electronic mail system (e-mail), to conduct Union business which is necessary for the effective representation of bargaining unit employees. 2. Union representatives shall observe all Agency rules and regulations governing the use of mail distribution systems (electronic or otherwise). Failure to do so may result in denial of access of use.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Customer Services Customer Relationship Management (CRM): All aspects of the CRM process, including planning, scheduling, and control activities involved with service delivery. The service components facilitate agencies’ requirements for managing and coordinating customer interactions across multiple communication channels and business lines.
