Holiday Inn Cairns Grade. 2 Employees at this grade have some formal training, but principally have on the job training, and can demonstrate skills requiring a higher level of skill than Grade 1. They are able to perform tasks to the satisfaction of the employer and make limited decisions with respect to their duties. They are able to work under less continual supervision and have knowledge of procedures and systems to the extent that they can give basic guidance to employees at lower grades, and have at least 12 months experience in the hospitality industry. The position titles at this grade include, but are not limited to:- lobby bar attendant, food and beverage attendant, cashier, shop assistant, cellar person, senior kitchen attendant or steward, porter, driver, xxxxxx, room attendant, telephone operator, receptionist, guest service agent, guest relations officer, reservations sales agent, security officer, night auditor, accounts clerk, payroll officer or secretary, seamstress, administration assistant etc.
Holiday Inn Cairns Grade. 3 Employees at this grade have attained the skills of lower grades to the satisfaction of the employer, have formal training with respect to the work performed and perform allocated tasks with competence . Employees at this level make routine decisions with respect to their work and supervise and train employees at lower grades. They have a sound knowledge of the employer's systems and procedures. The position titles at this grade include, but are not limited to:- team leader, senior bar attendant, senior food and beverage attendant, senior reservations sales agent, senior guest service agent, senior room attendant, senior xxxxxx, senior cashier, accounts receivable clerk, senior security officer, senior night auditor, trades assistant, gardener, store person, accounts clerk, payroll officer etc.
Holiday Inn Cairns Grade. 4 Employees at this grade have trade qualifications or equivalent competencies (Certificate III) with respect to their duties (which may be task specific), and can demonstrate achievement of the required level of internal core competencies and job responsibilities. The employee shall also have a detailed knowledge of the employer's systems and the hospitality industry generally, and take responsibility for their own work performance. Employees at this grade can work under minimal supervision. The position titles at this grade include, but are not limited to:- commis chef, chef de rang, electrician, plumber, painter, mechanic, gardener (horticulturist), accounts clerk, payroll officer, food & beverage supervisor, clerical supervisor, reservation supervisor, front office supervisor, housekeeping supervisor or guest service supervisor, etc.
Holiday Inn Cairns Grade. 5 Employees at this grade have specialised trade qualifications or equivalent competencies (Certificate IV) and can demonstrate achievement of the required level of internal core competencies and job responsibilities. Employees at this level are responsible for their own work performance. They can make decisions with respect to their work and can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the employer’s systems and procedures and apply them to their work. Employees at this level are responsible for supervision, direction and co-ordination of other employees within their work area in day to day operational matters and work under limited supervision. The position titles at this grade include, but are not limited to:- demi chef, chef de partie, food and beverage supervisor, clerical supervisor, front office supervisor, housekeeping supervisor or guest service supervisor, entertainer etc.

  • Holiday Week In the event that a holiday is celebrated during the week (Monday through Friday), the remaining four days of the week may be worked as a four ten shift at the straight time rate on a voluntary basis with three (3) days’ notice to the Union. In the event the job is down due to weather conditions, then Saturday may, at the option of the Employer be worked as a voluntary make-up day at the straight time rate.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Holiday Pay A. On each of the holidays designated above, each full-time employee scheduled to work but permitted to take the day off shall receive pay computed at the employee's basic hourly rate for the number of hours the employee was regularly scheduled to work.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • ROCK GRADATION TYPES Purchaser shall manufacture rock in accordance with the types and amounts listed in the ROCK LIST. Rock must meet the following specifications for gradation and uniform quality when placed in hauling vehicles. Purchaser shall provide a sieve analysis upon request from the Contract Administrator.

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.

  • School Calendar The Dual Credit course schedule will be determined by the location of the course delivery, provided that the required contact hours and prerequisites are met. The instructional calendar for the high school portion of the School will be based on the School District calendar and comply with all related TEA regulations for school attendance. The School District will adjust its schedule as necessary to enable Students to enroll in and attend the college- level courses provided by College. The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Paid Holiday Bank Employees qualify in accordance with the collective agreement. The paid holidays are identified in the Collective Agreement. Credit to the paid holiday bank will occur on the date of the holiday. Drawing from the paid holiday bank will occur at an accelerated rate of 1.25 hours paid for every hour taken (i.e. 11.25 hours worked equals 14.05 hours paid; 7.5 hours worked equals 9.375 hours paid).

  • Non-Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare Rate or three dollars and seventy-nine cents ($3.79), whichever is higher to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid- Funded hour worked. Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in‐home care program that are paid by a payor other than Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off, and training hours. Effective July 1 2022, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare rate or three dollars and ninety-eight cents ($3.98), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked. Contributions required by Section 21.2 shall be paid periodically as required by the Trust.
